Wow. I just started watching this yesterday thanks to my brother. Never thought there'd be a Speedrun on one of my favorite games of all time. And a game like this I never figured would have so many tricks to blaze through it. Thanks for the video.
one of my all time favorite games, it was so incredibly cool to finally see it at gdq! pandora and the couch were fantastic. my favorite types of runner/couch commentary are the ones where you can tell everyone really, genuinely loves the game, its story and its mechanics, even though they know how to totally break it in a speedrun. :')
I very much love this game and Uber happy to see there’s a speed run of it. Chattur’gha was my favourite of my 3 but loved the story. How each new character you play would play a zone then further characters would play the same zone but different in ways
Find it, play it. Haven't even seen the vid and I know it won't do the game justice because it's a speed run. This was a game that gave you faith in Nintendo back then.
OMG thhis AGDQ keeps doing my favorite games! So sorry I missed this stream! I haven't played Eternal Darkness in years... still wish I still owned my old gamecube for it.
Wow, I haven’t played this in over ten years but this brings me back. All the skips in this run just blow my mind. I figured there would be ways to glitch through walls and stuff, but she skipped the five point spell circle and some entire characters!
Edward was probably born around 1925, so HIS grandfather would've been born sometime around 1875, and Max's children are stated to be adults in 1760, meaning there's around 4 more generations between those kids and Edward's grampa.
This game is a treasure to me, worthy of a sequel we will never see, but are still remembered of its' greatness. Eternal Darkness will forever be a timeless classic and epitome of the horror genre.

Speedrunners! Lumbering, rotting gamers! What contrivance could have wrought this...this...this abomination?!?! Diseased science...?? Blasphemous occult rituals? How can something so...so still, yet be so fast?!?! And ambitious..! They lust for time...Ticks of seconds...and feast upon all the frames a game has to offer!!
Runner introduction starts at 1:20
Run starts at 2:21

Underrated gem of a game that would deserve a sequel! Good job on the run
One of the greatest forgotten games ever
Bloodborne before Bloodborne
(with a better magic system)
I wish Nintendo remembers one day and makes either a remake or, even better, a new game to this series.
It truly is. One of the first games I played back in the data, that scared me a couple of times.
True... true....😌
Thank you for the opportunity to show this game at a big event ;D!
Thanks for a great run of a great game!

An Eternal Darkness run? This can't be happening!
This run was sick! I keep forgetting just how massive this game is. Well done!

Great run by Pandora Jane! Love this game and love Pandora_Jane's channel on youtube.
thanks ;D!
Easily the best story of any survival horror game ever... Such a great game. The Lovecraft influence is so strong.

This is a rare sight! Surprisingly complex game mechanics-wise. Enjoyable run and great commentary too.
This is my favorite game of all time, so excited to watch this!
This is a game that NEEDS a continuation, remake, remaster. Anything, just anything at this point.
Great game to have in GDQ. Great runner and couch thank you
One of the best and most unique games for the gamecube

Awesome! I loved this game as a teen!:) Fantastic storyline and great atmosphere.
I'd have never imagined this on gdq. Awesome!
Favorite game on the GC, even over Metriod Prime, Windwaker, and the bonus Zelda discs that were available.
Bloody Great!!
This is one of the greatest games ever released, and a great run of it!
Awesome run with great commentary :)
i have never even heard about the game but Pandora made it look so easy ...
43:12 The most Troll-ly of Sanity Effects.
I'm actually so glad we got it during the run, because is not guaranteed during a speedrun
I absolutely LOVES that she turns her own lights on and off during Peter's section XD

Awesome game and run!
One of the best lovecraftian games ever made
Only love for Eternal Darkness
Nintendo, please, PLEASE buy the rights from (the dead if I'm not mistaken) Silicon and remake this game.
Absolutely love this game and so glad to see it repped by Jane and other absolute experts!
Wish this game would get a sequel or spiritual successor
a i love so much I did the 4 endings
Eternal Darkness and The Contract Capcom made with Nintendo were the reasons why I even bought a GC back in da day lol. good run
I like how blizzard just casually stole that to create an old god from it.
