So over in Germany you would have the nice devil Mephistopheles fight against the evil sorcerer Faust and the fiendish trickster Till Eulenspiegel (who probably turned into a hybrid of The Joker and Harley Quinn), and the Big Good Wolf trying to protect people from a red-hood-wearing slasher villain that sneaks into houses and stabs grandmothers.

The picture from the Rammstien Snow White video, ROFL. I think this would be a great game but would require a highly imaginitve DM and more so players. Great concept though.

I had this playing off to the side and not watching it, only to glance over and see Snow White doling out some "punishment", and was very confused. But yeah, intriguing game concepts all around, but definitely going to be limited by player and DM imagination.
This sounds like a winner to me. May have to see about creating a version that is using Native American mythology. I can see how wild some Navajo tales could get.
Would probably want to exclude the gifting of fire one. From my vague recollection of it, flipping it in the way this game does with the European and Western Asian ones would represent a forced extinction event for humanity that they never see coming.

Now then, what happens in the Americas? Not a lot of fairy tales generated by the dominant culture since 1492, let alone 1776. Except the national myths like the "American Dream", White Supremacy, Freedom and the Puritan Holy Land which are more dogmas than stories with characters and plots. But the indigenous? Even if they've been forgotten or were never recorded by the settlers, there could be some nasty surprises coming to life across North America.

So otherwise completely normal America, except we rebelled from king arthur and won most likely with the assistance of the French Knight of Lancelot. And current day you have the folk heros and villians roaming around. Alot of old west stories. Otherwise though... pretty normal.
