As a north Indian , I can tell you that South Indians are very Talented when it comes to classical Singing. They are the ones who has more awards at national level, more mature artists. KJ Yesudas,SPB,KS chitra, P Susheela, S Janaki. After 1988 Bollywood hasn't got any Except Sonu Nigam.
