watching/playing against Terry makes me wish that every move with different framedata depending on spacing had that screen shake like burn knuckle. it's such a nice QoL for both players
@@valentinherve2439 They're slowly adding that retroactively. The latest patch made it so that Kim's L elbow has a different animation depending on if you get a followup or not. The same goes for the command slide, where the character gets knocked down on PC if you misspace it and remains standing if you get a followup.
@@Raxyz_0 Dhalsim's slide also has a different stumble animation if it's +4 or not. Doesn't tell the other person if it's safe or not, but at least lets the Sim player know if they get a free jab or not.

Therefore, Manon is clearly top tier as well. Guys comparing the buffs Manon got with Gief... The buffs Manon got isn't as big as you guys think. Even the dodge is still so inconsistent.
30min in and BrianF didn't attempt to throw Idom for like 25 min because he got backdash / command grab once. I do this exact same mistake in long FT because it's the good thing to do in ranked ft2
Lmao Brian's learning about how good Manons ex Lariat spin move is. Its just bad enough 80% of manons dont use it, but it has a lot of wacky properties.
At least you can say you beat idom a few times now. You did pretty good the first round, you never would have even thought it was possible a few years ago in the sfv days so be proud of yourself man.

What’s crazy is the upload replay channel I watched had Brian winning the set. Perception was my reality but god dayum it was cathartic to see a good player also having trouble with this witch.

Doing pretty good with Terry. Getting the crack shoot to hit three times after the heavy tackle consistently is pretty annoying, although I suppose playing with Ed helped in getting tight timing combos, lol.
I think it's just Idom being really good at recognizing the openings he needs to kill, like the amount of times Brian went from 40-30% to dead in one interaction is insane. So it looked like Terry needed more hits.
I like how Brian uses the Lvl3 animations to think out loud, it's so funny how he goes analytical while his character is getting la la la'd

Manon's OD hitgrab is invincible to any upper attacks. It'll also go through Rashid's lvl 2. One downside is that you can't cancel into super with it.
