- Waterfalls have long captivated photographers with their mesmerising beauty and dynamic nature. To truly capture their essence, it is essential to have the right tools at hand. In this video, we will explore the versatility of Kase Filters in photographing waterfalls.
By comparing shots taken without any filters, with a polariser, and with various neutral density (ND) filters such as ND8, ND64, and ND1000, we will showcase the different effects and creative possibilities that can be achieved. Whether it's capturing silky smooth water flows, emphasising details in the scene, or managing reflections and glare, Kase Filters prove to be indispensable in elevating waterfall photography to new heights.
Thanks for watching, if it's your first time on the channel I would really appreciate a subscribe, it massively helps the channel, and of course a like and comment for good measure :-)

This was a fantastic demonstration on filters and undoubtedly one of the best videos I've seen in years. Most presenters on TH-cam spend 90% of the time babbling. Consequently, it is painful to watch their videos. Thanks very much for this explanation.
Thanks a lot Paul, Delighted you enjoyed it
Really, really helpful. Thank you. You’ve helped me make the decision to get some Kase filters.
Glad I could help!
Thank you for making this informative video 🙏
Now I feel strongly positive to purchase the “Kase Revolution 112mm Magnetic Filter Mega Set”, do produce more videos 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Best explantion I have ever seen on filters! Being able to quickly change between the different types makes the comparisons so easy and clear! thanks!
Thank you very much Delighted you enjoyed it Thanks for watching
@@DarrenJSpoonley I ended up getting the set: KW Revolution! Can't wait to get started with it. Thanks again!
@@preven2296 brilliant
Lovely little video D, I'm sure it will be of real benefit to all those photographers just starting out on their photographic journey. Hav a good 'un 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you very much Pal! I’m heading over to yours later
Great demo and review Darren, looks like a really nice filter system
Thanks Ralph, they really are for sure
Nice demo Darren, 👍🏻
Legendary !
Great video and demonstration of the filters.
I am very much in the market for for a whole new filter system and these Kase filters have been on yhe radar for a good while.
Thanks very much Pal! They are very good alright
Super helpful vlog Darren , Just ordered a set of these a few days ago
Ahh good stuff Darren, they are great
Outstanding review. I am considering buying them for a Canon R5, on an 82mm lens. You never mentioned how to purchase this. Do you have to buy based upon which size lens, or is there any camera brand issues, or do they not work based upon that? I hope you provided an affiliate link, so you get a small commission. Thank you, and I am a new subscriber.
Thank you very much Delighted you enjoyed it ! Yes you buy based on the lens diameter, I went for the 95mm as it fits my biggest lens the sigma 150-600 and then got step up rings for my other lenses so I can use the same filters
There’s link in the description :-)
Excellent video Darren. Looks a brilliant set up. Having just invested a lot of money in NISI, I will stick with them for awhile.
Thank you very much Jim, great filters too for sure ! Thanks for watching, hope you’re keeping well?
Hi Darren, a great video, buddy!
I absolutely like Kase filters and especially the KW Revolution system. The glass quality is top, with no noticable colour cast, but I like especially the good usability and the fact that they listen to their clients and adapt their products to make them from good to stunning. Amazing what difference just the colour-coded rings make out in the field, don't they?
Thank you for the video.
Nice greetings,
Christian
Absolutely ! The colour coding addition has been great for me and my workflow
Great tutorial Darren!
Thank you very much Ron
what about a lens hood? i don't shoot without one. i saw there is one by Kase and it sounds like people say it works as long as it's not used on a super wide angle lens (without vignetting).
I don’t remember the last time
I used a hood however these new versions of the filters come with an adaptor ring that will allow you to use a hood
great explanation so much handier and les bulky than the Cokin set up I have ! Il have to be good between now and xmas to get back in Santy,s good list 😀
Hopefully you’ll not be a bold boy between now and then 😀
@@DarrenJSpoonley can't promise anything 😇😇
They are really nice filters
They are very easy to use and produce great results alright
@@DarrenJSpoonley agree & the new ones look great
do you have separate adapter rings for each lens?
Yes I do
Got the old and now the new. Think it's great filters but the front cap on the new one is too strong magnetic and too thin. Use the CPL filter a lot and every time I take the cap off to take a picture the filter comes with it. It's a shame because they are otherwise fine filters.
I’ve not had that issue but your the 2nd person to mention it ! I will pass it on to the kase team for their info ! Thanks for watching
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👌🏻
Thank you
