- We initially thought that Takara Tomy learnt from their mistakes with Variant Lucifer and improved the barrier gimmick, but Barricade Lucifer did not show much progress with this that type of gimmick. Barricade Lucifer is still awful against right-spinning Beys even though the Disc and Driver combo is very solid. You can remove the rubber barrier entirely, but we wanted to keep some of the rubber on the Layer. As you've probably seen with Variant Lucifer, we snipped off most of the rubber blades on Barricade to increase the performance against right spins. Boy.....performance is night and day compared to stock form!
Would you consider doing this to own Barricade Lucifer? It won't perform the same after you cut off the barrier, but it's probably a good thing 😂.

✂ we put our Barricade Lucifer through surgery and it came back a bit shorter LOL...shortening the rubber blades is definitely a simple way to improve this Bey's performance against right spins. It's irreversible, but kind of worth it to be honest. Barrier gimmicks have always been just that - a gimmick. They haven't performed well since day 1 against most Beys and even against left spins, the matches are going to be tight. It'd be unreal if Takara Tomy can develop something like this in the future that's more usable! Would you consider doing this to your own Barricade Lucifer?

If you don't want to cut the rubber, just glue it, shock absorption and less recoil

It still slows the bey down like Fafnir gets slowed same spin
the point here is to see how it can endure during battle between same spin

I think if you glue the rubber barrier shut, you’ll have similar performance to cutting them. You’ll just have rubber contact points mixed in, essentially giving you a right spin Fafnir

I'm revisiting Beyblade geeks after not watching since 4th grade, which was 4 almost 5 years ago. Ah, it reminds me of when my entire school was obsessed with beyblades. God so much nastolgia I remember back in the metal fury days when I first saw this channel seven years ago. Wow.
for me it was opposite, nobody knows beyblade and my 1 bff with is cousin were the only ones playing Beyblade Burst. I was the only one who brings the stadium.
@luciferzhiend2492 that must have sucked as a kid literally every day half the boy, and some of the girls would bring a stadium during recess and do beyblades. It got to the point I was getting tired of it.

The other reason why you shouldn't open the bey and take out all of the rubber piece is it's gonna reduce the weight a little bit.

A better way to have done this is just remove the barrier by unscrewing the layer and taking away the flaps
You can't unscrew the layer it has rivets which is impossible to remove unless you break it open

@@RyujinSaviorX they're like a triangle shaped screw. You can get a similar shape one or the exact same and unscrew it. It's not that hard, people have done it before smarty pants
Edit: they're not impossible and aren't simple like you said but they can be unscrewed unlike the drivers, there no shape on the rivets to unscrew but the rivets on the layer does. They made it like this so it's almost impossible but not impossible

Lucifer stamina was so good because of its sharp driver, and a free spining ring/plate and when it wobbles the plate would stabilize the bey and it has great life after death and i think its height is an advantage

Since the bearing Mobius is an excellent stamina driver and have some height, how about a modification video of heaven pegasus but replace the low driver with bearing Mobius for possible chances of the underwing making contact with opposing beys

Try supergluing the tongues so they don't extend, that way they'll be offensive rubber like Judgement Joker and Ultimate Valkyrie. And then they will also aid in spin stealing against left spins like a right-spinning Fafnir.

The original lucifer beyblade was not the first one made with wings. Xts hell kerbecs (I believe) was the first bey to have wings that stick out but it is like lucifer but worse.

Quick disclaimer!!
Barricade and 2D actually does worse without the barrier because your taking away the main thing that makes it useful. The barrier is really only ment for opposite spin match-ups and equalization, and it does well. Well if you wanna remove the barrier just for that teensy better right spin matchups then ok go ahead. But without the barrier it still does bad against right spin and without the barrier it's bad at left spin. With the barrier you'll get the most use out Barricade and 2D with the barrier rather than without the barrier. If you don't believe me. Just watch Zankye's video about lucifer xP
