why does everyone say that Nina is s Tier in Tekken 8? Where can this be seen? Maybe she's top 10, but not top 5. It's just that everyone is used to the fact that Nina is nobody in Tekken and she needs to be defeated by playing with one hand. after all, any normal player, judging even from this battle, can see that Nina does not have any obvious advantages over Lily. Most who said that Nina is a top tier character are does who are not used to catch her biggest hole, such as those who are not familiar in countering Nina’s unsafe moves and duckable strings. Nina has always been rare online that is why everyone don’t know how to counter or familiar with her moves. She is seen strong in this game because tekken 8 dominates aggressive game as Nina has always been a rushdown archetype character, their main reason why she is strong is due to her power crush (that is -14 on block) and heat smash gunshot extensions. I mainly use lower tier characters in this game and still manage to defeat comfortably god ranks Nina.

I think most of the problems people saw with Nina have somewhat been addressed, combo damage and her crazy homing power rush which is fixed now
Her pressure is dangerous at the wall and it can become excessive because if you don’t know exactly when to press she is always plus but ye other than that she’s good but not on the same level as Alisa and Drag, Yoshi etc

@@impacted_seer The multiple SS1 wall pressure is crazy, 10+ frames on block which is her scariest move, but it is rare to Nina players that can pull that move since it needs a just frame cancels. I know how to deal with Alisa since previouse games, but she is crazy strong in 8, Dragunov seems ez to beat now, I don’t know why everybody complains with him.
