Any house tour videos? You seem to have a lot of decor. I appreciate your movie reviews. I also collect films from the thrift.
Thanks! I have roommates and most of the cool stuff is theirs so I can't take credit for that.
The Wanderers is an excellent movie. I would recommend that one as well.
Great Video!
It really is!
Great reviews
Oh Hell Yeah...Almost Famous Is My Jam
Baytown Outlaws was a great movie for me. Im a huge fan of Mr Slingblade. Another one with him in it that you might enjoy if you haven't seen it is Pushing Tin. It also stars John Cusack. Mad props to you for watching all those movies. I got a subscription to Criterion Channel and haven't been watching two movies a day like I promised myself. Great video FMF
Thanks! Two a day can be a lot. I think I saw tin Cup in the theater but don't remember much about it.
@FleaMarketFalcon Pushing Tin is about two crazy air traffic controllers.
I love The Wanderers definitely severely underrated! It's amazing that you have it. I hope to someday come across a copy myself.
Diggs Town is definitely a fun time but probably not in a made for TV format. Great Vid!
Thanks! I was at a yard sale (wasn't filming that day) and they were giving away the VHS for free and that was one of them. I was stoked!
I found baytown outlaws at dollar tree a couple years ago. Great video as always!
Awesome! Thank you!
I have vague memories of watching the Wanderers on cable, like 30 years ago. I think I remember someone plays air trumpet for some reason.
Nice! I don't remember a trumpet scene off the top of my head but also I'm not good at remembering details lol
@@FleaMarketFalcon Yeah, I don't think it was a major part of the scene or anything, just something my young and impressionable mind latched on to.
Food for thought. I jotted down a few titles. I liked Shutter Island better upon the 2nd viewing.
i went out thrifting today to our local St. Vincent DePaul thrift store and they had a ton of movies donated. so much that i got them 10 for $1.00. i grabbed 52 movies in total. and yeah, Bay town outlaws was a dollar tree find for me. i felt the same way about shutter island, predictable and slow.
Awesome! I live for those types of deals. Yup, Shutter was a let down.
Hit that Metal scream Rob Halford!!!! Metal DVDS 📀 🤘🤘
haha, I can actually go higher but I didn't want to break any glass.
@@FleaMarketFalcon Fantastic
Almost famous is one of my all time favorites!
Nice! I always meant to see it but never got around to it. I was a fool!
Sadly, the actor Tony Gainos, who played "Perry" in The Wanderer's and "Meat" in the Porky's Trilogy, recently passed last month.. he actually was scheduled to attend a Porky's Cast Reunion at Con near here over this pass weekend before his death..
Oh no, that is sad
Dinner in America was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while, totally my jam, same guy was in smile, also directors new movie comes out this month
Nice, looked it up and the movie is called Snack Shack. Hopefully it goes to theaters. Also the guy from Smile and DIA is was in Wet Hot American Summer when he was a kid. Not sure if you are familiar with the movie but he is the one who pops out of the water and says "Andy have you seen my swimming buddy? It's your job to make sure kids don't drown" Then he gets invited to a (fake) top secret pizza party but really just gets thrown out of a moving van and left for dead.
will check out dinner in america. who knew there was a novelization of The Funhouse?
Yup, written by Dean Koontz of all people under a pen name early in his career.
I love Pumpkinhead , Grown Ups and Departed I actually like Something kinda Wonderful to you gorging to mention Eric Stoltz falls in love with his friend at the end when he realizes he loves her to I like when they kiss at the end Elias Koteas plays his punk friend who sticks up to the bully at the end Craig Sheffer from Nightbreed
Yup that was a good ending. Not sure why it took until the end of the movie for him to date her though lol. She is hot!
I know right I thought she was way hotter Lea Thompson lol
Dinner in America is awesome! The arrow video Blu-ray is region free.
Awesome, good to know! Might have to buy it. The odds of finding it at the flea market are 1 in a million lol
@@FleaMarketFalconI found it on eBay for around $15. Definitely worth it in my opinion.
Hi Flea Market Falcon I Hope That Movie Dinner In America Releases On Dvd In United States Sometime In The Future
Well it probably won't be but it seems you can import it and it plays just fine.
I haven't watched much in a while and I never got to Big Lots. I recommend a title I found at Dollar Tree years ago. The Long Way North. Animated. I need to re-watch it. I don't recommend Dinner for Schmucks. I have the original or same idea from the 80's. It's French and good, but can't remember the title. DFS, people don't realize it's a re-tread. Shutter Island was lame.
Never heard of The Long Way North, will try to check it out. I remember thinking Dinner for Schmucks was an ok movie with a good premise, so kind of disappointing to learn it wasn't even original!
The Departed is a remake of a Hong Kong movie, Infernal Affairs. I liked it much better myself.
Kyle Gallner from Dinner in America stars in The Passenger. Pretty decent and on Prime video.
Nice, I'll try to check them out. Kyle Gallner seems to produce good work!
Sssssss is hilarious, i remember cracking up when the villian keeps lifting 2 pound weights. trapped in paradise is very funny. never really liked the departed either, and never seen shutter island. eye of the tiger makes the departed look like SESEME STREET!!!!
It sure does lol. And Sesame Street makes Eye of the Tiger look like Faces of Death meets The Day the Clown Cried
@@FleaMarketFalcon 😂😂😂😂😂😂
I quite enjoyed the new Adam Sandler movie Spaceman.
Oh nice, looks interesting.
The Wanderers is a great movie.i got to tell them.but have you seen To Gillian On Her 37th Birthday,it's one of my favorites,Claire Danes i had the hugest crush on her when i was 12 years old, seeing her in swimsuit, that's what it was.
Nope haven't seen that one!
@@FleaMarketFalcon It's about a man who reunites with his family after his wife passed away.
If you liked God Told Me Too you shouls check out some of Larry Cohen's other movies like Q-The Winged Serpent with Michael Moriarty and It's Alive and The Stuff.
Thanks and yes I've seen those, with The Stuff being one on my all time favorites! I'm sure he has a few others I need to track down though.
I really liked smile
Perfect storm i agree it was ok.
Poor things I really enjoyed it
I didn’t like Lisa Frankenstein either
Shame you didn’t like shutter island.
I haven’t seen last shift but the same director did a remake of the same movie called Malum. I wonder how it compares. Taken I like the first two.
Pumpkin head was an interesting one I saw last year.
Whiplash I really like that one.
Grown ups wasn’t bad I don’t like the second at all.
Mario was fine
The fun house isn’t to bad.
Frankenweenie I enjoyed.
The rest I haven’t seen
Thanks Ryan!
What a bummer I thought I still had a copy of God Told Me To, but can't find it
That stinks, Good movie!
@@FleaMarketFalcon I found it on youtube, not the best quality, I hoping to find that Dinner in America and I'm also a fan of RLM
❤😂
Feeding the algorithm
Heck yeah
PS. None of My Dollar Trees have movies anymore. All gone. But I will check to make sure.
Yeah DVDs aren't as common anymore at DT :( . I hope they get at least one more wave of them.
So the director legit remade his own movie (last shift) called mallum last year and it was very bad
Oh wow. It is odd when directors do that. The remake seems to also be low budget so I don't see the point?
How are you a movie guy but haven’t seen Some King of Wonderful???
I know! I always meant to but never got around to it.
better late then never.@@FleaMarketFalcon
exactly why i stopped watching free youtube movies that youtube offers they edit all the good stuff out like wtf
Yup! The ones uploaded by just random accounts not labeled as "Free with Ads" seem to be fine though.
For me, Whiplash is nothing but hipster bait, Right up there with Baby Driver. I got zero tolerance for those movies.
Maybe we have a different view on hipsters, but I consider movies like Mandy to be more what they are hyping. Whiplash seems to be a big hit with all types of folks.
