- If you feel despondent that the year is coming to an end and everything is over in the garden then come with us on a visit to Hyde Hall. This garden challenges the idea that the winter garden is dull. Our visit in November which is often regarded as a gloomy month was anything but, the colour was incredible. From the trees and shrubs in their glorious splendour to architectural willow sculptures, this garden can’t help lift your mood and provide inspiration on how to extend interest in your own garden. Come and join us!
Plants and trees have so much more to offer than just their flowers. In the "off" season they provide interest in color changes, insect habitat, saps, wildlife value, etc. and it gives a chance to see the structure of things when their not covered in blooms and foliage... thanks for another interesting look at a lovely English garden. 💚
Beautiful day, beautiful garden. Loved seeing the Winter interest ideas to capture for our own gardens. Thank you for taking us along and describing & labeling the shrubs, trees, etc. for us to study by! We appreciate you! 🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳
Thank you , the RHS gardens are great places to learn from as everything is labelled
Thanks for watching

What an amazing place ,I’m sure it’s beautiful in all seasons . Thanks for the walkabout.💐
It was really lovely and we were very lucky with the weather, the sun came out and everything sparkled.
Thanks for watching

Beautiful walk round.
The light event will be worth checking out. They do a similar event in our local country park and the trees look spectacular.
Thanks for sharing the winter garden in comparison to the summer.
Hi Jenny, I see you are back in Essex at Hyde Hall. As you Know I have been there a few times. The autumn display there is great this time of year. My smoke bush has lovely foliage this time of year like the one in your video. It's nice that your video give me ideas for my garden up here in Shropshire. Looking forward to seeing your garden when you get all your trees planted. Percy says hi to Murphy.
Hi Graham
Hyde Hall is looking fantastic, I hadn’t seen it at this time of year. My smoke bush looks a bit pathetic by comparison but it’s still young.
Thanks for watching and hi to Percy from Murphy

I planted seeds from ‘Golden Rain Tree’ last fall and I have a very small tree that I carefully pampered for winter keeping my fingers crossed. 🤞🏼
Oh wow, that would be wonderful if you can grow your own tree!
Really interesting willow structures. Potted sedge at 3:52 is Cyperus papyrus, Asclepias are Milkweeds.
Thank you
