Blown away by Drumsheds. I was doubtful they would get the acoustics spot on being such a large space. But i was blown away by it. Coupled with the visuals at a live show it was insane. Hats off the them. Everyone who enjoys electronic music should visit this place!!
Going to see James hype and meduza on the 27th April with my wife and son and his mate,by far the biggest event of this kind any of us will ever of been too ,really looking forward to it and tbh curious if somewhere so vast works ,both production wise and atmosphere
I have been there last Saturday! Everything is seriously on the next level! Also, the organisation from the moment you get in to the time you leave cannot be anything better.
Went yesterday for KNTXT and the sound system is great but the bogs are 🫣 and it was freezing to begin with. I swear the next pandemic is gonna start from the drumsheds portaloos! No where to wash your hands in the entire venue and me and my mate got trapped in one with a dodgy lock. Ended up having to stand on the toilet and kick the door out 😂 My mate got pulled by the dog on the way in too so be careful.
Ive been there twice so far and I absolutely love it! Its huge but its safe ! I cant wait to be back there. The only thing I dont like is walk to the toilets and back 😂
The club really is a monumental achievement .Unfortunately that is the way the UK police are forcing clubs to go. It's either that or lose your licence.
Seen Lauren garnier in Glasgow arches years ago , he was class ! His set from the rezerection event 2 in 94 was quality , still stick it on every now and then
Hopefully it's not only techno and some of the smaller rooms offer some of that yummy bruk, jazz funk, soul and jazz. Please tell me I'm right and I'll be there in a jiffy!
Absolutely awesome thanks so so much for posting this! I love the Techno scene all my life and I’m not just into the music but the whole scene and iconic venues like Tresor and Berghain in Berlin and a bit of DJing here and there!.. Just ordered my tickets for my 1st gig! Charlotte DeWitt 🔊🎛🎚🎛🔊 Again thanks so much for the review 💯👊🏾🎪
Rather have a 200 person club night, easy bar, easy toilet and outside/fresh air if needed, I'm an introvert and don't do crowds, can do biggish on booze not that big though.
????sound was crap at 'Discotheque' event Drumsheds few months back. Only loud enough and decent quality centre front. Everywhere else punters talking was louder than the music AND you could see the music jus wasn't loud enough to get people dancing except front centre. Was lame , literally. It's a cash cow place. Minimally decor,d out , feel like 1 in a sea of a million. You could see Derick Carter and Kenny Dope weren't feeling it from their body language n faces. Gilles Peterson and Doris put 👌🏽👌🏽 energy into in the side rooms. Too minimal. Like a squat zone, with a few huge screens. Great having food stalls.
Absolutely no way with metal roof and no treatments that the acoustics are good. Sound is going to reflect really bad in there. At minimum there needs to be panels in the roof.
@@robotrobotofficial which is crazy coming out of the UK everyone goes ape shit for FunKtiOn one when any sound engineer worth their salt know that it wouldn't come close to a DB or Lacoustic array.
@@DJJustFrankI've never spec'ed an F1 system for any venue 😁 Although Turbosound was great in their time but designs and tech moves on. If the room is big enough line array for the win - loving all these amazing new toys, ahem I mean professional audio tools we have at our disposal these days
@@DJJustFrank I don’t get the funktion one bashing . One of the largest F1 systems I heard was at the warehouse project and it was out of this world . I’m yet to say that about a line array.
sadly if it's anything like printworks the sound system will be dogshite, crowd awful, silly lightshows, excessive security, no one dancing, everyone with their phones out. BUT at least it doesn't have that ridiculous elongated dancefloor

mate the sound in the main room is fucking terrible, everyone ive spoke to agrees, it needs major sorting
Brilliant. From all accounts the London area needed something of this size and scale. I'm jealous. I wish Toronto had something like this.
The area it’s in is on the outside London and a bit of a shit hole area 😂
As someone who's been to printworks multiple times, I can't wait to go to drumsheds!
Same

Was there last night for Gorgon City, really hope Anjunadeep are doing something there in December.
Probabaly too close to December now, especially as they are now doing a roundhouse gig in march
I have been there last Saturday! Everything is seriously on the next level! Also, the organisation from the moment you get in to the time you leave cannot be anything better.
Excellent video! Thank you for showing us around! Brilliant club, looking forward to visiting it someday!
Thank you for the lovely comment
We went to see Gorgon City on Saturday it was brilliant all the staff & security so friendly & yes it’s Massive !!! ❤
Glad to hear you had a wicked time!
how was the sound?
So glad you had a positive response overall! Looking forward to experiencing it!

What they got dogs on the door? Ffs
@@davidsaunders-es6lgthey did at Printworks too
It's great to see the UK leading the way once again!
CANNOT WAIT FOR BICEP PRESENTS
Thanks for give us first peep of Drumsheds. Going to check it out next week, can’t wait!
just wow! That looks nuts. Wasn't the place an IKEA once? it's gotta maaaaaaaaaaaassive
That's right, it was once an Ikea, not that you would know now

Can't wait. 🤦🏼♀️ It looks incredible.
you are in for a proper treat!
Absolutely perfect venue! My new happy place now that Printworks is gone ❤
Cela a l'air grand, très grand même, mais le Printworks dégagé quelque chose de particulier avec cette hauteur sous plafond exceptionnel.
I agree
ironically it only runs in the day 😭
And there I was, about to order some furniture from the IKEA.
Nobody ever tells me anything. I think I have something in my eye.😢
Fantastic video
Unbelievable Luke 💥 🕺
Looks insane although have heard that it's easier to get out of a prison the security is so tight!
The club really is a monumental achievement .Unfortunately that is the way the UK police are forcing clubs to go. It's either that or lose your licence.
I didn’t notice the security at all when I went last week. Obviously getting in is the only bit after that it was fine
@@karenwilliams9811how were the dogs and security getting in 😬
Security was very relaxed. Didn’t see any within the crowds entry was fine fair less stringent then many smaller venues I’ve been too.
Security is not tight. They don't even check your ID. Yes the same like in Printworks there is a dog.
I enjoyed this review.
Amazing ☀️
Boss video this !!!!
Thanks 😁
is that the IKEA in Tottenham? looks like the Sonar night venue i went to a few years ago and saw Soulwax, Laurent Garnier and co play in
Yes, it's the former Ikea in Edmonton / Tottenham
Seen Lauren garnier in Glasgow arches years ago , he was class ! His set from the rezerection event 2 in 94 was quality , still stick it on every now and then
Camelphat, ARTBAT and others....bloody hell that was good last night
Heeeeavy 🤙🏻😎
Was there for gorgan city and will be there for camelphat and hopefully chase and status
I need to go here
NYC used to have big clubs but things got to expensive for them now I go to Philly to dance.
This is the best club in London right now. Unfortunately sound system in the "room Y" is not so good.
home computer whose version is it?
What track is playing through the vid?
That track is: Camel Phat & Ali Love 'Compute' - it's a total banger!
Back in the Days Joyce Muniz , Bam

It’s definitely not all Techno, no idea why he said that. I’m going in a few months for a House night.

What are the speakers like?
Pretty damn good
Was he in movie Human Traffic?
This the old ikea?
Yes!
la vida silvestre alrededor se verá gravemente afectada
Does look a bit soulless… I’d still go

X room was amazing but sound system in the Y room was horrendous. Damaged my ears.
It's over hyped this venue. It tries hard, but ultimately doesn't work because of it's vast size. It's a bit souless, the atmosphere too broken. 3/5
Make sense, the best clubs I’ve been to are ones with lots of little hidden rooms/corridors/seating areas.
Went there for the worried about Henry event and it was a solid venue 7.5/10 imo did feel like it was trying a bit too hard to be printworks tho
Well it's better than not having it, or would you prefer that?
Very big maximizing profit through maximizing scale vibes. A very impersonal and inhumane space. I've no wish to be treated like cattle in a pen.
