Mt Uwerau

Our second attempt at the Manakau ~ Uwerau traverse, this time taking a slightly different tactic and going for Uwerau first. We called it on the top of Uwerau in favour of another attempt via the traditional route later in the year.
This route up Uwerau is not supposed to involve so much scree and rock fall risk, but was the only feasible route we could find. The Seawards are not the most inviting place to be post-quake.
