Thank you Joyce for listening to and watching the video story behind "Awaken the Dawn," one of the top listener favorites among my twenty-two years of composing. And thank you for your encouraging words. The inspirational verse from Psalm 108:1-2 reads, "My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul. Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn." This essence of hope was my heart's expression in composing the piece. Thank you for your interest and spirit in sharing the book recommendation. My personal faith is filled with love, grace, and joy which Jesus has so generously given to me and is continuing to grow in my heart through the Bible and the Grace and Truth of His Word. Through my years of investigating the Gospel I have found all God's promises to be faithful and true. So thank you for your grace and understanding if I don't have time to read this book in the midst of other reading I have planned for quite some time. The actual music aside, with all the pieces you've created throughout your life, I imagine that it must be a real challenge coming up with a new name for each? I mean the combination of notes and chords seems virtually limitless, but not so with words and phrases.

Did you also add all the orchestration in the final version? This piece has so much feeling in it, and the orchestra augments it perfectly!
