Jack in the box would only be responsible to the extent management at the restaurant knew the employee was bringing a loaded gun to work everyday and never said anything to her about it. Or have documentation employee was written up.
Yeah, I don't see a lawsuit against them winning in court unless the worker had writeups as proof management knew she was packing heat.

You say that, but did anyone actually look to see if she checked off the "yes" box or the "no" box next to the question on the application that said "If you forgot to put curly fries in a drive through order where a family of a father, pregnant wife, and six year old daughter ordered, bought, and paid for them, then the father exchanged words with you for it, would you chamber a round in your gun, return it to your pocket and hide it until you were able to position yourself to best shoot at them for it out of the drive through window, then start sending lead downrange at all of them at the earliest chance possible?" And, if they didn't check to see how she answered that on her application, you know damned well that they wouldn't have explored farther with the "If you answered "yes", how many rounds would you fire at them?" part of the question. So there.
I stopped going to the local Jack in the Box. Overpriced and the food quality was subpar.
I think curly and regular fries cost the same. I prefer the regular fries myself. So if I got the wrong fries, I'd just let it ride. I'm not going to send an error back if there is no price difference. But, shooting at a fleeing vehicle is assault with a deadly weapon, if not attempted murder. Brandon Tatum played the follow-up news report, which said the employee got a slap on the wrist and never served time.

Well, there is a $0.49 difference to sub for curly fries and employees need to get the orders correct no matter what, but what I do know is that difference or no difference... I have never seen "GUNSHOTS" on the menu for any reason @ any location. I feel they should all be locked away for choosing JACK IN THE BOX in the first place, but you should be able to order your food and get exactly what you ordered the way you ordered it. There should have been no gun and she shouldn't have thrown a single thing at that family... raising hell or not. Not warranted. You are correct... she got a one year sentence: DEFERRED. So she will just shoot at someone else soon for something even more ridiculous, I'm sure.

Don'T know the conversation or argument, but the work threw the first "supplements", driver retaliatd throwing them back plus sum, then the worker walked away after closing window, shoulda been the end of it there. She decides to shoot the person, and proceeds in trying, up close. Should be a life sentence.
