Those stickers were for after you dry place the protector, you effectively create a sticker "hinge" that allows you to move the protector up, remove the backing, and place it down without worrying about losing the position you found originally. So you would have taken those stickers and wrapped them around the tablet edge, touching both the protector on the front, and the tablet itself on the back. Just a helpful tool to keep the protector from shifting on you as you initially start the application process.
i recommend getting a metal end tip, they can come in a variety in one pack so you can try different ones. After my tip wore down to the METAL i decided to get a pack, now i don’t have to worry about buying new tips. Although i heard that they might scratch the matte screen protector over time, that is not too much of a problem for me because i have a light hand when writing or drawing ☺️

I’m eyeing this screen protector and was worried about the nib wearing down too, but willing to try it out if it gives a better experience than a tempered glass protector. (P.S. Super jealous of how effortless you make it look drawing hair! Definitely a weakness of mine 😅)
