Also cabin fever is the rash movie and cabin in the woods is the one with the monsters under the cabin. Both excellent films. But cabin in the woods was such a unique horror film that its in my top ten favorite films!!!!
Spencer has said that their will be no films past 2006 on Welcome to Horrorwood that means that The Human Centipede doesn’t apply cause the first one came out in 2009 … my guess is Hostel (2005) for Wurst Vacation or Funny Games
Fly Could be Silence of the Lambs “ Fly Starling Fly” .. and Wurst Vacation could be Motel Hell , Where the Slaughtered Guest get turned into Sausages be the Feranged Hotel Owners !
I bet "the box" is gonna be based on seven, when you described the plot I immediately thought of the cop story going on in the music video and how that is gonna get involved if the next music video isn't the box I'll be shocked
Cannibal Holocaust is a bit out there off the main stream path. A possibility for sure, but I would expect more of a Hills Have Eyes or Wrong Turn to be an influence than Cannibal Holocaust. I will be shocked if it is indeed Cannibal Holocaust.

Hellraiser is a pretty solid guess for The Box, but I’d like to throw in a dark horse kinda guess with Cube.
Never seen Cube, so it didn't even cross my mind. Thought of Bird Box as well, just see that one as more of a thriller than horror.

I blended both. LOL. I love both movies but the skin rash is from Cabin Fever....Cabin In The Woods is a completely different plot.
