Tena Koe Kiri I have just watched your interview on you tube and I wanted to let you know that I am a Kaiako, I am a Maori fashion designer and I am teaching contemporary Kakahu, materials, Techniques and Tikanga at Wellington East Girls College. I am currently completing my Masters in Contemporary Korowai and how it raises Maori achievement in high schools, We are singing the same song gal! But you say there are no Kaiako doing this work, there are many, I am happy to Korero about this with you, I run workshops for teachers on how to make Taniko and kakahu.
