Imagine seeing this beast of a man that's strong enough to take on and destroy entire armies alone that has the power to control gravity and turn himself into a fucking meteor and destroy all those below him get killed by a random naked guy with a thick piece of wood.
The most impressive part was right at the end, the restraint shown when Radahn was at like 3-hit status and you just kept diligently dodging and waiting instead of getting greedy and running in to try and rush the last few. I suck at that kind of patience with these bosses.
At his/her level, it is more of a science, every moves of the boss are deterministic. AI response is fully studied, practice alone cannot bring you this far.

It’s pretty cool how Radahn hides Leonard in sand right before his spinning aerial attack at 2:56. Even though he can’t distinguish friend from foe, he still loves his horse. What a man.
To think how this boss destroyed me, though you needed to find the right spot so that the arrow does not hit you on the horse.Still remarkable, motivates me on getting better in the game
He just cheesing the arrows hitting the hills and finding a spot between the legs that the big boss can’t reach, some of the big bosses have that. Also seems like his club doing a lot of damage so it likely upgraded
you actually can survive just a couple of his attacks even naked at his health level i believe. i had lower health and and some early mob armor and survived a fair few attacks. or at least parts of them

my biggest recommendation for anyone struggling on him is to actually not use summons, they make the fight unpredictable and chaotic. when you're 1v1 all you have to do is learn his patterns. he does have very delayed high damage attacks but they're all well telegraphed, kind of in the same vein as nameless king in ds3
I just killed him on my 4th try. I used NO horse at all. Only Bloodhound step to evade. I didn’t summon but i did call the Cooperative friends that showed up on the field since i thought was part if the fight. I just evade and shoot him beams with my Sword and killed him off.
Yeah I dunno dude. I’ve beaten every souls game at least 10 times each. The nameless king is nowhere near as hard as Radahn. The bosses in elden ring are extremely aggressive and unpredictable. I love the game, but they definitely overtuned some of the bosses. It’s encouraging everyone just to summon decoys and smack the boss in the ass instead of learning how to play.
This is mind blowing. I just started playing Elden ring not too long ago, which is also my first souls game, and I've stumbled across this boss and have so much trouble. To see you make it look so easy gives me hope that I can beat him. Especially after reading that you did this before he was nerfed. You're a legend!

That's what I thought too. There's no way the I-frame for dodge rolling is long enough to grant complete immunity to some of these attacks. And at 3:02 i could swear he was still standing when he got hit

For a no hit run Radahn is fairly difficult because he has an attack where he does a stomp and then he drags his foot back using gravity magic. It’s very quick and almost totally unpredictable. I’ve seen him do it multiple times in a row until it lands. You really have to hope you’re already in the position to dodge it, or be really patient with him. Waiting out the attacks that truly leave him open. If not he’ll tap you for sure. 😬
Everytime I beat a boss, I always come back to the channel to see if you've done a hitless version, and here you are again beating the craziest bosses at SL1 AND HITLESS. I stg the standards I want to live up to get raised everyday XD
Huge props After learning him solo I hit a plateau but this helped me a lot First I beat him while overleveled, but now started from scratch and came back to him at lvl 30 with +12 upgrades and beat him after 2-3 hours thanks to you
Incredible work man. Your dedication is unreal. I love at 1:20 how you perfectly timed the stagger so that you could prevent him from using his gravity spell. So smart.
It's not skill though, that's the funny thing. Skill would be doing this on a blind run, and using nothing but your reaction times - this is hard work and dedication: it's learning the necessary timing for every move and drilling it until you can nail it.
Of course you already beat him at RL1, solo, no damage. Perfect timing as always. Why do I say this? Because you uploaded the fabled Boiler of Blood (Ishiin) with Attack Power 1& no damage while I was struggling to beat him once. Now that I'm stuck on Radahn, of course you upload this. Even though it makes me feel inferior watching this mastery, it is a great vid to watch to learn his moveset and patterns. That's how I beat Ishiin and that's how I'll beat Meteor Man. So thanks. This will help me git gud enough to solo him.

this actually feels like a tutorial cause it shows what you attacks you don’t need to roll for if you’re close enough to him and what attack can’t actually hit you.
I know it's a year later. I was late to the party on ER, but I just did this. I used the iron balls though and you gave me hope during when I watched this. True master
Looking in slow motion, it seems the way he runs makes him strafe the actual "charge" of the second part just barely, but he still has to roll because Radahn creates a shock wave when he fully plants himself. A more reliable dodge is to go forward instead of backwards and just roll forward to the charge and outspace the shock wave, but Radahn will be further away so you won't be able to punish.
judging from this footage he seems to lack coverage for his underneath and rear, which is where you need to strike to have without worrying about being hit
Yeah I’m doing level 1 no upgrade club only and I can’t seem to get as much damage as he’s getting. I have Radagon’s soreseal and the blue dancer charm equipped but I’m only doing 150 damage with a charged heavy attack while he’s getting 300
It's funny that ER community in my country (Thailand) some fanboy said ER is easy and they're disappoint blah blah blah. I told them if they can't play like this don't say it easy. Good job as always bro.
Elden ring is no sekiro and it's ok, I can't recommend sekiro because the learning curve is harsh. Despite the magnificent combat mechanics, sekiro has gone unnoticed by so many :( I'm glad from software is learning, they need to start with easier opponents and dial them up slowly and not have a chained ogre throw you repetitively on the ground.
Thing is, I can play like this and still consider it really hard, the hardest in the series, I got my ass absolutely handed to me in my first playthrough of this game.
Freaking beautiful dodging. I love it, I've been getting better and better. I've never enjoyed a game thus much I swear. I'm a melee build with level 24 in both sorcery (int.) And incantation (faith). I don't have very good spells. But I've found myself getting better and better with dodge. I have put all focus into my blood hounds fang curved sword. I feel Like I wanna get away from it but not sure what to try and change to. I loved the video I'm gonna attempt the same tonight.
I beat Radahn yesterday using a SL1 wretch with bleed and frost. It was quite the battle the say the least. It took me only 5-10 attempts, but I've already beaten Radahn enough to know the moveset pretty well. Nice clean kill.
@@afckingwizard6628 I don't find Radahn to be one of the hardest bosses, despite what a lot of people say. You can get two +13 weapons before the fight and it trivializes it entirely. Melania is a lot worse from what I've seen, and I have yet to try her

I feel sorry for any new players, or even souls vets, that get the slightest inkling they will be able to pull off even half as much as this guy. SPOILERS: Radahn is going to curb stomp you. Probably for hours on end if you go straight at him like this. Maybe then you will appreciate what a god the guy in this video is. He probably isn’t human.
I hope you know that my mans spent hours memorizing lmao. He is not a god its really his efforts. You cant just pull up to a boss like rahdan and do him first try naked and with a club and no damage.

Y'all just gotta start slowin the gameplay down and playing patiently seeing and reading the bosses move sets of course deaths are gonna happen but it's the only way to see how different their movesets get
or using that kamehameha sword, summoning the NPC companions to tank through all of it then cheese it in a worst way possible. but hey, to each their own.

Jumping gives you immunity frames just like rolling does in this game, you can essentially dodge everything with a jump :)

Learning Radahn attack pattern is more frustating than Godrick. At least from my experience, also I did not manage to kill Radahn yet

The Elden Ring DLC is going to have Ongbal as the final boss, and still naked with a club

Because you uploaded the fabled Boiler of Blood (Ishiin) with Attack Power 1& no damage while I was struggling to beat him once. Now that I'm stuck on Radahn, of course you upload this. Even though it makes me feel inferior watching this mastery, it is a great vid to watch to learn his moveset and patterns. That's how I beat Ishiin and that's how I'll beat Meteor Man. So thanks. This will help me git gud enough to solo him.

Is the hitbox at 3:02 really just that janky where you can stand in the animation for a good 16 frames before rolling without getting hit?
I'm not sure why but the hitbox at that moment is one beat slower.

Spinning has hitbox. And his body and sword. But purple effects not.
Looking in slow motion, it seems the way he runs makes him strafe the actual "charge" of the second part just barely, but he still has to roll because Radahn creates a shock wave when he fully plants himself.
A more reliable dodge is to go forward instead of backwards and just roll forward to the charge and outspace the shock wave, but Radahn will be further away so you won't be able to punish.

My own level 1 no weapon upgrade run lead me here... Radahn is my first real wall on the run, seeing you do this has inspired me.
Yeah I’m doing level 1 no upgrade club only and I can’t seem to get as much damage as he’s getting. I have Radagon’s soreseal and the blue dancer charm equipped but I’m only doing 150 damage with a charged heavy attack while he’s getting 300

Elden ring is no sekiro and it's ok, I can't recommend sekiro because the learning curve is harsh. Despite the magnificent combat mechanics, sekiro has gone unnoticed by so many :(
I'm glad from software is learning, they need to start with easier opponents and dial them up slowly and not have a chained ogre throw you repetitively on the ground.
Thing is, I can play like this and still consider it really hard, the hardest in the series, I got my ass absolutely handed to me in my first playthrough of this game.

Freaking beautiful dodging. I love it, I've been getting better and better. I've never enjoyed a game thus much I swear. I'm a melee build with level 24 in both sorcery (int.) And incantation (faith). I don't have very good spells. But I've found myself getting better and better with dodge. I have put all focus into my blood hounds fang curved sword. I feel Like I wanna get away from it but not sure what to try and change to. I loved the video I'm gonna attempt the same tonight.

I beat Radahn yesterday using a SL1 wretch with bleed and frost. It was quite the battle the say the least. It took me only 5-10 attempts, but I've already beaten Radahn enough to know the moveset pretty well.

@@afckingwizard6628 I don't find Radahn to be one of the hardest bosses, despite what a lot of people say. You can get two +13 weapons before the fight and it trivializes it entirely.
Melania is a lot worse from what I've seen, and I have yet to try her
