Looks more like iron pyrite in those magnifications. Easy test, if you can lift out a piece of what you believe is gold, with some tweezers, set it on a hard surface, and give it a tap with a hammer, if it's pyrite, it'll pulverize. If it's gold, it'll mash into a tiny piece of foil. I bought both some high grade and low grade ore from Jason. The low grade holds very, VERY little gold. Mostly pyrite and magnetite. The high grade was obviously much better.
Cool! A chemical extraction method would be much better for extracting gold that fine. If you crush the ore into an extremely fine powder and then use aqua regia you could dissolve 99% of the gold and then precipitate it out as top purity (24 karats).

Jason puts out some good ore. Crushing ore is such a pain!
