This was just the best tutorial and looks for the shemagh. My husband wants to wear one so, I was assigned to find out how to wrap one any video made it easy for me now I can show him.
We are playing a board game that is set in Afghan so we want to wear SheMagh while playing it. ^__^ (Because we think it's cool.)

I just got a red and a white shemagh in the mail and I can't wait to wear either/or at every U.S. affiliated airports.
I have learned a couple ways to tie a shemagh, and they are all great and useful. With the cooler weather, I have found that a face wrap feels warmer than a ski mask. However, the ski mask was worn when it was a lot colder while I got the shemaghs toward the end of winter. Definitely going to retain the knowledge for when summer comes though.

@@Sultankhanworld really? Why only in those 2 countries? The ones that RGO had talked about...why only in Pakistan and Afghanistan...are the made by a particular artisan...is that why?
@@mr.imperial8721 probably cultural choices. But who knows maybe you can find. In Turkey there are tons of scarfs like these but we call them şal(shal) and generally women use them to cover their hair and neck when they go outside.

Hello, how can you wear sunglasses wearing also a full covered face shemagh? I used a couple of times for hikes to avoid using sunblock all the time but my sunglasses keep fogging up all the time, make them unusable. Is there any trick? Thank you

I’m Afghan and I have never seen anyone in Afghanistan tie a turban like that in my life. Also, we don’t have Shemaghs.

Tbh, this looks more like the turbans worn by the tuaregs in north africa. Afghans don't usually cover their faces with their turbans but nice attempt anyways.
