Creo Parametric - Datum Planes

This Creo Parametric tutorial explains what Datum Features and Datum Planes are, how to create them, when to use them, and - most importantly - when NOT to use them. Years ago, Pro/ENGINEER needed lots of Datum Planes to create geometry, but advances especially in the past few years have removed that need.

To create a datum plane we use multiple references. can we delete the references used and make the datum plane independent after created? Something similar to ISOLATE function in CATIA. Please let me know
