Hello, from Tokyo! So, at 0:33 I said, "This is my film scanner." In fact it is not a film scanner. Just putting it out there! It's a glorified light box that I use to help me scan the film. It's super excellent and works really well. I hope you enjoy this video!
I am going to do something similar to this. I will try to find parts locally which will take more time for me to make it. But one question. What wattage or kelvin measurement do you suggest for led light?
Hey hey. Thanks for chiming in. I can't suggest a specific kelvin temperature, mostly because I wasn't able to find anything showing kelvin temperatures. I just found lumens. My light bar is 550 lm and is very bright and is 7.5 watts. Here's a link to the specific product. www.biccamera.com/bc/item/6428698/ It's SUPER bright and can be adjusted. Most of the time, I have it on full blast. Seems quite effective. LMK what you think!
@@TokyoGritandGrain Thanks. I was trying to find something you have, but no luck. But I will keep searching, I am not in a hurry. Once I'm done I'll let you know. Need to take some photos first :)

This is an awesome idea, i really like the way the holder is integrated!
I was pretty meticulous when designing this thing, so I hope it works for you, too!
Thanks for a short, informative video and not making 20 minutes of nothing 👍🏻
Thank you! I need to make more of this type of thing. 🙏🏼
Really really well done mate!
Thank you so much! I toil over "if it's good enough." I hope it inspires people to create this on their own.
Nicely done buddy👊🏻 dig the dyi set up. Reminds of our TTL rig we made. Hope you are doing well. Best to you brother - keep shooting
DEAN! It's SO good to hear from you! We sure did have fun with out TTL rigs, didn't we? I hope to see you again, soon.

Oh, and your browser will have to translate that page. Apologies.

Well done, sir. By the way, what lens are you using? A macro, I guess?
Hey hey! Thx a ton. I'm using Panasonic's 30mm macro. Does the job. There's an Olympus M43 lens, also, but I keep the brands together.
You are quite an exotic specimen, you look like the giant from Twin Peaks. Curious phenotype.
What is Kelvin of this Light Bar you bought?
The product I purchased does not list Kelvin, but similar products indicate 6000K.

It's not a scanner
You're correct
