It's always a pleasure to speedrun for Fatales ❤
Bringing one of the most difficult, unexplored, and marathon-unfriendly categories for Luigi's Mansion onto the GDQ channel for the first time has been a goal of mine for over a year, and I'm so happy that I was able to finally do it justice!
I'm so sad that DayKat wasn't able to be with me on comms for this, but I'm hoping we'll be able to team up for another event at some point!
Luigi's Mansion PAL will make it onto mainline GDQ, mark my words
As someone in the PAL region who couldn't beat the final boss as a child, I'm kind of relieved to see that it was just objectively hard, rather than me being really bad at the game.
Watching this playthrough felt like a mirror mode.
56:10 Luigi riding on his vacuum is how MKDS's Poltergust 4000 was made, lol.
That extra free heart made all the difference for the final boss fight; gosh that was nerve-wracking!

I only realized when watching the run back that the heart I picked up during the final battle actually mattered!
Had I not picked that up, I would've had to forfeit the golden diamond, but Bowser didn't win this time 😎
Luigi is the best brother because he can speak Pidgit
Also, after watching more of this, I see in addition to the mansion being flipped, so has Luigi himself. His hat shows a backwards L.
@@FFVison As far as I can tell, Nintendo literally just flipped the video feed (minus the UI) and inverted the left/right controls to make it feel natural!
