Great video and info! Can you tell from the photos if a card is Gradeable? Also after you receive the cards, what do you do with the cards that have minor scratches/print lines or corner dings making them upgradeable?

You can’t really tell surface condition from photos. If you’re concerned about a card, you can ask for close ups and ask about the surface condition. What I tend to do is just stick to buying newer cards (like 2 most recent years) and I’ve found that about 80% of them are gradeable. The others I just resell raw.

Super useful video! Only issue for me is I have successfully avoided Facebook for years...really hesitant to have an account. Wonder if I can do a private, only here for the cards, account. :)

Definitely valid. I’m not a big fan of social media either, so I try to just stick to my process of making a buying post, checking on it a couple times throughout the day, and finishing deals on messenger. As you know, a lot of the cards I grade are cheap, so I’ve just found a big advantage being able to buy under comps and save on shipping costs.

What tool or service do you use for comps?

You looking to buy in bulk at about 90% of comps regularly? If so, I could send you over a bunch of photos, maybe over on instagram or something, see what you might be interested in. If you give me a list of basketball you're looking for, I've mostly got basketball

Yeah feel free to reach out on Instagram and I’ll send you a list of what I buy.
