I love your spice mix idea - my husband does his own Cajun seasonings and others, because they're hard to find here in rural France. He lived in Canada for over 20 years, and Arizona for a year, so his tastes run far beyond the average French palate! I also love today's dress - you look so bright and fresh, and it's a cold dreary day here!
I love the idea of a baking cabinet. The house were moving into gas see through cabinets and I was wondering what to display. Bakeware will be one of those things now, thanks Nikki 😄 you also gave me a great idea to donate pantry items to my church as we have a church pantry for anyone to donate to. Seems obvious for me to do that but I don’t always see the opportunities around me until you point them out. Thank you for this series and all your content 🙏🏻
This gives me an idea... a spice rack with glass jars to hold all your paints. All organized in it's own little caddy and beautiful to look at. Just as long as the jars are sealed!
I have a whole spice built in cabinet that also is a small table, my house is from the 50’s and the design is so cool, I have all matching spice jars and it makes my heart happy ❤
Expiration dates have a way of creeping up on me. Canned peas with a 2020 expiration date are going in the compost pile today. I don't even like canned peas. Helpful video.
Making up your own taco seasoning, chili seasoning, meat seasonings etc will save you time too. I love your baking setup. So handy and pretty! I'll definitely be tackling the pantry and dry goods situation tonight.

A few of these little jars could be perfect for holding your and your talented daughters' small sewing/stationery/painting supplies. Yes, I’d like to frame a lot of her paintings and sketches. That one was on the same backing as when it was featured at the community center art exhibit. After her next exhibit we will do that together.
I’ve had a baking cabinet for years and it has simplified my life tremendously. Yours is definitely more beautiful! This is a super useful space in my kitchen. I also tuck inside the expiration date from the package into my jars like that so I don’t ever have to wonder how long I’ve had something. You could write that on the jar as well, but mine seem to rub off before I realize it. Just a tip that works for me! Loving this series! Thank you!
I love the idea of the baking cabinet with the decanted baking powder and baking soda etc - it all ooks so ready to use and welcoming instead of having to dig it out of my top cabinet like I do now. Your videos add a lovely touch of beauty and peace every day.
I don't have a designated pantry either, but I do have those corner circular cupboards that serves as a pantry plus a couple of other shelves in the kitchen. As I've mentioned I've been going through my kitchen and am so pleased with the way I've been able to organize it. I also have a baking area with my mixer on the counter of that area. Fun to see what you've done. I don't have pretty glass jars but I do have a big deep drawer to put all of my baking supplies in. Thanks again for your encouragement to clean, declutter and organize. 💖
Great video! I love seeing the before and after. Isn’t an organized and clean space a thing of joy? It is for me. I have some vintage looking glass containers for flour, sugar, baking soda etc. and keep them on my counter next to my stand mixer. I would love to decant more items in my pantry and laundry room and bathroom eventually. I also think some shelves for the cupboard above the fridge are in order. I hope your family is feeling better.

If I used paint like that, that would be a wonderful solution. Thankfully my watercolor palettes don’t require extra storage.
