It's hard when something goes wrong and you don't know how to fix it or you end up hating it so much you don't want to use it - been there so many times. But I think with time, you gain a sense of knowing what to do when it doesn't work out for yourself. I'm so glad you appreciate these videos. Thank you so much for watching xx
Love the way you do a different fantasy world theme for each month! Do you choose one based on one of the books you intend to read that month? Or is just your favourite fantasy worlds? Your reading log layout is soooo much better than what I'm currently doing, which is just the title and author. Definitely stealing that for 2025 haha! How do you find out about all the readathons!! You do so many and they look fun!
Hello! Sorry for the late response. For 2024, each month is a fantasy destination. I have the rest of the year all mapped out so they are from books I've enjoyed a lot this year. Next year, I'll have to come up with something new. Maybe I could do more about romance novels, though I am very partial to my fantasy worlds. And steal away, I'm more than happy to see spreads I use helping others too. The readathons admittedly I get sent the links to by my friend Monica. She seems to know where they all are before I've even had a chance to look! I think I should convince her to start a IG shoutout/channel to share the links she finds because I get asked this a lot!
I love seeing your spreads!🤩 For the data journal, the completionist in me would want the 2024 stats in there, but I would probably cut out the pages I don't like and start over again with a color scheme that I like better. Though you use the same system in your other reading journal, would it be an idea to use the same colours, but a lighter/more pastel-y shade for each? I'm not sure if that would work with your own preferences, it's very personal I understand😅
It turns out I don't have enough pages to go and transfer everything! So it's a moot question to have brought up. I appreciate your feedback, though. I think the pens I'm using this year are just too inky. I agree, a lighter shade of the same colour would be a better option. I shall ponder how to recreate it so it works better moving forward.
