In the original script Winston is former military. Even in the massively cut down role that was in the final film, he is most practical and sensible of all the Ghostbusters. Janine is treated with respect and Dana is concert level cellist who ends up working as a professional restoration artist in the second movie.
I love how you have ghost and the winchesters standing there in the front haha
Ghost?
The point you made about the album coming out before the movie so the marketing of the movie sells the album is what they do in India. Every movie has the album come out about a month or 2 before the movie. That's one of the reasons why they love to have song and dance numbers in many movies.
i can see the planning that went into choosing those POP'S !
Calvin's beard grows more epic every single time I open a new Blind Wave video. I'm seriously jealous.
The second one is awesome and has everyone of the original cast for the main characters is in it.
You mean the reboot?
The Winchesters and Ghost on the table 😂
just found this channel a few days ago u guys r cool. remind me a lot of my irl friends lol the fact that its not just 1 person reacting and you actually have a discussion on it is what appeals to me.
John Candy was originally cast as Louis Tully, but quit and was replaced by Rick Moranis. Also most of the lines in the first Ghostbusters movie were ad-libbed. Gremlins was the first PG-13 movie, because originally, it was PG, but the PG-13 was created and was slapped on to Gremlins.
Not sure what you mean with bandwagon. The trailer looked like trash and you saying I am a hater doesnt change my opinion.
Paul Anthony I am fine, thanks for your concern.
+Paul Anthony i didn't get that from reading he's comment.
Dan Akroyd was actually in the Tempe of Doom. Because he love the first movie, so Spilberg give him a cameo :D
The Flamingo Kid (1984), although Red Dawn (1984) was the first PG-13
movie to be seen in theaters. The Flamingo Kid (1984) was the first
movie to receive the PG-13 rating, but it was not released until after
Red Dawn.
Venkman was supposed to be played by John Belushi, but he died before filming
Eric's wearing the right shirt.
Coming from a guy who watches movies for himself and does not let peoples hate or opinions get in the way... the new Ghostbusters was trash.
Screen Junkies also did an honest trailer for Ghostbusters 2 you guys should react to the honest trailer of that also
Haha... Sam and Dean Pops are out on the table... THIS IS WHY I LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!!
You guys should watch Netflix's Stranger Things.
Yes do it!
The guy with the beard and in the pikachu shirt kinda looks like Devon Bostick.... Awesome channel btw, just subscribed after watching your reaction to the game of thrones season 6 finale.
This channel is my favorite channel on TH-cam. Make sure you check out some of their other videos, like their Mailbags and Flash reactions. These guys are awesome, you'll love them
You guys should react to some of Dan bulls raps
You didn't play Pokemon Go instead of watching the video! Much nicer than some OTHER reactors I could name...
I didn't care about the Ghostbusters reboot as I didn't grow up with Ghostbusters, but even after watching the trailer with no bias I still thought it was bad. The jokes were flat, especially for someone like me who doesn't find Melissa Mccarthy funny, and the only entertaining aspect was the colourful CG. With that I would have just left it alone as just another bad cookie cutter remake/reboot but then a surge of claims that people who didn't like the trailer were misogynists all over social media and the co-writer started calling valid criticism "haters" and "manchildren". Fuck that. Fuck that up its ass. What further annoyed me is that the movie is currently sitting at a 73% on Rotten Tomatoes while Batman v Superman is at a 27%. Now I don't think the Batman v Superman movie was good but that rating is just ridiculously unjust.
I know I am late to write something, but this comment is absolutely true. The new movie could be good if the jokes or story would be okay, but they aren't. The jokes are mostly flat or stereotypical and dumb. Making the receptionist male is okay, but to use someone pretty handsome and the female lead role is instantly dripping wet for him seems to contradict the intention of the role. And it makes the hate for critics even more stupid cause the movie is itself is putting the actresses in situations and jokes that you only think bad about them. The movie is misogynistic ind of itself. Things that are good about the movie is the costumes, cg and so on. The weapons and traps look good because they have the feeling someone is making them from scrap metal, that's a cool look. The story is a disaster cause it isn't featured in the movie. The plot and the movie are two different things until the end. So it could be a good film if the writing was good, the jokes would hit and if it wasn't so misogynistic against the cast.
PG-13 was introduced in 1985. Gremlins and Temple of Doom are the films that lead to its introduction.
Just did a little research and the to answer your question of what was the first movie to use the PG-13 rating was Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom :)
almost a 100k guys :D
BEHOLD THE GREAT SHANE'S TAN. But after Indiana Jones Temple of Doom and Gremlins PG-13 was introduced and Red Down was the first movie to get it
Love the channel, guys. Can't wait for next year's Thrones.
Oh, and if memory serves . . .
PG-13 was started so that Temple of Doom wouldn't get an R. Lots of news reports over it when they came to that decision.
You Guys should do reactions too Everything Wrong with Movie reactions for star wars and allot of other movies or How Its Should have ended reactions be cool too those too.
why is this video unlisted?
dumb dumb
I see the Winchesters on the table....SUPERNATURAL REACTION CONFIRMED!!
JaySteelix I was looking for the coments about that!!! xddd
I've watched this reaction plenty of times and I'm just now noticing Sam and Dean were out. lol.
“Kids this is a library”
Ok boomer.
I really hope you react to the Batman Vs Superman Honest Trailer.
Why do you have the SPN pop there do you have any GB POP?
Could you guys react to the GoT S4 literal trailer by tobuscus?
spielberg pushed for the pg13 rating so he could include the scene in Temple of Doom where they rip out the heart.
Temple of Doom started the PG-13 rating.
Actually Red Dawn started the PG-13 rating
if this was just uploaded how did I watch it last night at 2 in the morning
Red Dawn is officially the first US film to be rated PG-13 after parents were outraged over Temple of Doom
Have u guys watched any Penny Dreadful yet?
If you have time, you guys should totally react to the new Netflix show "Stranger Things"! It's a super-awesome 80's-inspired sci-fi/suspense/horror show with Winona Ryder, sort of like Stephen King combined with Stephen Spielberg! I think you guys would love it. :)
I believe the very first PG-13 movie was Dreamscape.(It was a Dennis Quaid movie)I'm full of useless info.
there is a batman v superman honest trailer too!!
in response to Calvin's comment about the proton-packs being nuclear bombs, they would be more like antimatter bombs(waaaayyyy worse). Also, the thing that makes the new movie so stupid is that the origonal could be genuinely scary at points. slight spoiler, the new one is not scary at all.
The fact that the main woman in this movie said everyone who hates it are 30 year old nerds that live with their mom pisses me off... it just looks shit to me.. and then people blame it on being sexist.. no.. it just looks bad to a lot of people
Hey blindwave, i loved the supernatural reactions almost as mutch as the game of thrones ones. Where are the new ones? i need them i my life. By this rate my 2 year old son will be a grown man before you finnish all the episode that are out now. For the love of me, do them sooner rather then later:)
If Patty gets cut from the movie like winston it'll be an improvement
No spoilers, Saw the new ghostbusters it started out good but then half way through it just goes to hell and don't get me started about the ending... Went in with no hate for it but came out like why did they make this and is it a parody???? God I hope they take it a little more serious next
Also Leslie's character was such a stereotypical black woman and in the end it just feels kinda hate to say it but racist! Also the Bill Murray part was absolutely shitty and felt disrespectful
Yeah saw it too and the biggest thing I felt at the end... was that the whole Movie felt really disrespectful to the original. It could've been great... it wasn't. edit: It is also kinda funny that Eric feels the need to defend a Movie he hasn't even seen. This isn't really comparable to the Prequels. Which I love, because Star Wars... duh. So you should think I have a higher tolerance for "bad" Movies. I don't hate the new Ghostbusters... simply because I don't want to waste my time hating something so shitty. PS: Still love you Eric. ;p
+Black Kami honestly I'm a prequel lover lol I grew up with them so I think they are the bomb, well except phantom menace... Haha Also agree about the defense of a movie you haven't seen but he's just trying to give it a chance... He will learn soon lol Another thing about Ghostbusters is the CGI was crap in my opinion! Well compared to other movies out with smaller budgets
Indiana jones and the temple of the doom and gremlins. The summer of 1984. Lol, yeah I googled it :)
Yup. That's when PG-13 got invented! The whole "Kali-ma" heart-ripping-out scene was too graphic for PG, but they had no choice lol. Then they created a step between PG and R.
Could you guys watch how x-men apocalypse should have ended please
17:11 Fuck yeah it dose
There is an honest trailer for Ghostbusters 2 that just came out too. It's pretty negative, If you watch it it would probably be to discuss it rather than to enjoy it.
Hellsing Ultimate TFS and normal cartoon!!!!
Guys pls do "BVS honest trailer" please.2nd time request
crystal skull vodka is made by dan akroyd :)
Is that Sam and Dean in front of Eric?!
GHOST NAPPA!!
GODDAMMIT NAPPA !!!!!!!!!
batmental reaction next
❤️❤️❤️
The trailer did not do the movie Justice I saw the movie and I enjoyed it
And react to the next one (ghost busters 2 ) :P
Ok I'm a fan of you guys for long time so just Watch The new movie
They shouldn't support bad productions.
react to ronald mcdonald rackaracka
You guys should watch Stranger Things
I have no political feelings on the movie. I just think it was just another Adam Sandler movie, just without Adam Sandler and his cronies. It had the same hack dialogue.
PG-13 was made for Temple of Doom so 1984.
Will Smith did a rap for Sharktale.
Don't waste your money going to watch the new one !!!
still waiting for the xmen animated series honest trailer reaction....do it pleeeease.
A trailer and a movie are completely different though, not all of it is bandwagon hate. One of the first jokes in the movie is about queefing, I mean the whole movie in general is just disrespectful...
Check out Shane's guns.
The new ghostbusters movie is a good stand alone movie, if you take it for itself. I went to go see it.
Wiig and McCarthy kinda play it straight, while Jones and McKinnon are hilarious IMO. McKinnon really steals the show, and reminds me of Murray's humor from Ghostbusters.
McKinnon and Hemsworth are the best imo
It's not good even when standalone. And it will never be standalone, so it doesn't matter anyway.
Please please please react to Stranger Things. It is so freaking amazing and you all would love it. I'm begging you, react to it!
i came here for you to watch an avatar episode next please!
They have JUST released one this week. 1 episode perk week thats it.
PG-13 came out because of Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
the point of the whole ghostbusters thing is IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT...but they will never learn.. Dirty Dancing and Footloose already suffered remakes and those were awful pieces of shit..
The prequel hate is 100% justified.
New Ghostbusters isn't bad because women, it's bad because its bad. Congrats, women can be bad in things just like men. And its forced commercial feminism that's completely okay with black stereotyping. Ernie Huston forever! No, I'm not a huge fan of the original Ghostbusters either. It ain't much without Bill Murray.
It was made before people became overly sensitive about everything
You don’t wanna see it. It’s one big bad wonton joke. Go see it, then you’ll understand. But remember you can never unsee it. And FYI the movie isn’t connected it anything. False advertising, and cheated everyone in on a bad product
i honestly liked the new one
I'll say this again, never trust a trailer for new movies or episodes like Game of thrones.
GHOST NAPPA
You should watch it, it's not bad actually. it has some really funny moments
guys react to game of thrones suicide squad
come on guys do a stranger things reaction :C
I would say watch the honest Twilight trailers but im gonna assume these guys are straight and have never seen the movie
Against my better judgment I will say thar you should go watch the movie... or just search for reviews of it on youtube (coughredlettermediacough), just saying.😉
Also, why don't you try reacting to the Everything Wrong videos, especially the Star Wars Prequel trilogy videos or Star Wars Jedi Party by Auralnauts all of the episodes.
I have no problem with an all female cast, but the movie itself was not good at all one of the first jokes in the movie is a fucken quef joke.
the new ghostbusters is fine.
..but it was that bad, and the prequels were great compared to Ghostbusters 2016
Can you guys actually watch a movie before passing judgment?
What movie are you talking about? New Ghostbusters?
+Katie Stubbs yes the new one
None of the guys actually said anything bad or good about it. They were commenting on the hate the movie attracted and how they felt about it.
Didnt sound like it to me. But thats what I got from it.
The guys aren't known for slating things before they've seen them. Not how they work.
the trailer really was terrible, but probably the worst representation was of Leslie Jones' character. In the movie, she is actually a New York historian and adds a lot to the team. Much less of a stereotype than the trailer would have you believe. I really enjoyed the movie; the actors had great chemistry and Chris Hemsworth was surprisingly delightful.
I liked the new Ghostbusters, it had a few bad scenes, but overall quite funny, go check it out.
On Aug. 10, 1984, only three months after parents were outraged over the release of PG-rated "Temple of Doom," "Red Dawn," a drama starring Patrick Swayze, became the first film to be released with the PG-13 rating
I saw the new ghostbusters and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's sooooo much better than GB2 (not quite as good as the first) Hemswort and Mckinnon are delights. I mean as you say its about catching ghosts.
🙏🏻⛲⛲⛲⛲⛲⛲⛲💖🙏🏻💛
all the people complaining about the new ghostbusters are grown men, who the movie was not made for, and all the people who like it are little kids, who i think is the main demographic anyway. i went to the movie theater to see finding dory the other day and all the little kids coming out of ghostbusters, boys and girls, were really excited about it. so all the hate for it is pretty pathetic.
The movie was very clearly made to cash in on the nostalgia of the older viewers.
Yea.. see it for yourself and decide. For me, I thought the first trailer was unadalterated horeshit. The second trailer was bad but not as bad as the first. The movie wasn't shit .. the movie wasn't good. It was meh .. boring and unfunny. Terrible villain and a pale reflection of the original (PALE). And no, I won't give them a pass by not comparing them to the original.
Interestingly, Leslie Jones is the most relatable and realistic character in the movie. 90% of the stereotypical stuff is in the trailer which I don't understand why they did that (then again, I don't know why they released those trailers). It's a forgettable movie that I can't remember a single quote from now. I will never watch this movie again and that's sad.
Except the prequels *are* terrible.
the movie was bad any way
