Good reaction - you watched the official video when you reacted to this before. It hits so much harder live - this was the very first live performance and they always improve and develop their songs and performances the more they play them, so when they were playing this on the European tour early last year it was taking the roof off every venue.
No, not an opener or a closer, this was about half way through the show when I saw them in London. BxMxC may be BABYMETAL Cypher, but that has not been officially confirmed, so it may equally be Bring Moa Chicken (its the one I'm going with until they confirm otherwise) ... in an interview not too long ago the first question asked was "How are you feeling right now?" Moa's reply: "Hungry, I need to eat fried chickens."
I have 'borrowed' this information (again) -
"They talked about 'BxMxC' in a recent interview.
SU-METAL: That was my first rap experience. For most of my recordings up until now, I would sing “la la laa” to create a sort of vocal line, and then lyric writing began based on that.
(Typical J-Pop recording has the session singer record demo vocals once the arrangement, lyrics and melody are finished. Then the group uses that demo as a guide to do their recording. BABYMETAL doesn’t record in the J-pop style, they do it like a rockband.)
SU-METAL: But it was different for this track, they had a backing track and lyrics, and then told me to try rapping. So at first I was still trying to figure it out. In hiphop they call it…it was like…ah, I forget!
    MOAMETAL: Wasn’t it…f-…fall?
    SU-METAL: Uh…what was it…
KOBAMETAL (who happened to be there): Flow?
SU-METAL: Flow! (laughs) To get a feel for the flow, I made a lot of different attempts to figure out what would be good. Like how to descend and ascend in pitch, and which timing would be the best to try the pitch changes. Even for the same phrase I’d try going a little ahead of the beat or a little bit behind it, while keeping the whole track’s balance in mind."

At this point, I wouldn't put any money on betting that there's anything Su can't do.
The song title probably stands for "BABY METAL Cypher", or "BABYMETAL Metal Cypher".
They say "Tekina Metaru Saifa" (Like a Metal Cypher) several times in the song.
However, until there is official confirmation, I'm still going with "Bring Moa Chicken".
In an interview in the Japanese magazine PMC, this was the first question:
    Q1: How’re you feeling now?
Moa: Hungry! I need fried chickens.

BMC stands for Babymetal Cypher, and is in reference to rap battles, sometimes referred to as cyphers. This was the first song that the lead singer Su-metal ever rapped in, and as usual, completely killed it. Their latest album, Metal Galaxy, combined musical genres from around the world with their unique style of metal. It has Celtic, Spanish, Indian, and many more influences in the songs, and really highlights that they are not afraid to go outside of the classic metal genre, and more than that, can pull it off like nobody else.

Actually if we would go full technical, this was not their first but it is their first full rap.
Because either in "Doki Doki morning" or "gimme chocolate" they have small kinda "rapping" part (with full Kanje glassess) But yea their first full rap song.

Nice reaction & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。 This was filmed at Makuhari Day-2 show (Jan. 26, 2020) and the band is West (American) Kamis. They are as good as East (original) Kami band.
When I heard the studio version of BxMxC, I was skeptical that this challenging song would be played live on stage. But they did it flawlessly with clear vocal and sharp choreo. (Actually this song was not challenging at all for Su-Metal & Moametal). I actually witnessed it performed on March 15 & 16 concerts at the venue this year. I, a poor skeptic, had to beg our Metal Queen & Princess for their forgiveness. The lyrics do not make sense a lot even to a Japanese like me. It is full of word plays, puns and rhymes. So my conclusion is, as Su-Metal once said , "Don't think, Feel!"

Someone that knows japanese better than me said that the translation of this song is quite difficult, because since it's a Rap Battle, is full of play on words an puns!
But since in the song the say often "Tekina Metaru Saifa" (like a metal cypher) we can probably guess that BMC means BabyMetal Cypher or Babymetal Metal Cypher.
Funny that you talk about a boss battle, since the official music video has exactly that :D
I believe you reacted to that official video.

Yep, you watched the MV before but this live version is like 1000 times better imo. Not only because that was the song's live premiere but also because Su kills it with her attitude and her flawless singing... and without all those voice effects included in the studio version (I was very skeptical about it). But this one is pure gold. Specially that windmill Su does with her ponytail. So baddass!

BABYMETAL fans are "arguably" number one?? I mean, even you said we're known as THE ONE! 😁
Also, The Rock & Hulk Hogan would be in for a quick kawaii ass-kickin' if they tangled with Su-metal & Moametal...just saying.

New subscriber to your channel. BxMxC is Babymetal Cypher. Su-Metal first rap discography. For first time new to the rap scene, she is spitting bars. This is from the Metal Galaxy album. React to Iine pronounced eee-nay not Line, Babymetal single from their self-titled album Babymetal which involves 5 genre and one of them is hip hop. Babymetal Galaxy album is more diverse. The One will help you in your Babymetal journey. Kitsune Up 🦊🦊🦊🤘🇯🇵🇸🇬

BMC probably means Babymetal Cypher but that is just a guess. No one knows for sure even though people will state it as a fact. It's not an intro song or outro. It usually gets played in the middle of the concert I believe.

    • @watcher2554
      @watcher2554 3 ปีที่แล้ว

Well, the fact that Su-Metal says it multiple times throughout the song and it says "METAL CYPHER" over the 'su-meta vs. teki-na', 'moametal vs teki-na teki-na' and the 'babymetal vs boss' match up screens kinda gives it away....
      Put your Kitsune UP!! Po!

@@watcher2554 Su never says Babymetal Cypher at any point in the song nor does it appear in the video. It also does not appear in the lyrics. I have asked multiple people to prove these words appear anywhere in the song and so far I hear crickets.
As I stated in the first sentence, it probably is Babymetal Cypher. Its a logical guess. It is NOT a fact.

BMC = BabyMetalCypher, if you watch the official MV it is written in some part of the clips as well SuMetal sings that in the lyrics, althou not sound the same with many arrangements and auto-tune artistic style, but this live is without many of those tricks and it sounds even more heavier.
This song along with Pa pa ya! are the most listened from the 3rd album for me and althou is not an anthem per se it is almost like a flag for this album, fun fact: this song was release only for japanese album but due to success abroad, and i guess the pandemic situation too, they release the vid and the song worlwide, but overall i like all the songs from this album.
Keep coming back and dive into the Fox Hole \m/

It's just my opinion, but I think this the one rare instance in which Babymetal's music video is better than the live version. However, I must say that it appears that you weren't given a good live version in which to react. Nevertheless, there's no getting away from the fact that these ladies have the crowd eating from their hands!
