I like these videos how about a rocket stove with your talent and expertise you could put the ones I've seen to shame, Thanks for the videos still thinking about your tig button since retired haven't done much welding to justify.
Burn barrel i did for my dad rusted out finally. i had put rectangular tubing at an angle for a vortex effect and it actually worked. Cant really make that a vortex but i think i know what im makin for him now, thats awesome looking
You scared the heck out of me tacking that filthy steel with the tig and not pickling it or removing scale and then you redeem better judgement and pull out a mig and go to town. Lol😂.
Back to the basics... 👏👏👏 Let's see a couple million views like the old days!!!! 😎😎😎
Its probbaly would if he put "how to mig weld" in the title that's what people search for.
Impressive arc between the work and the table at 2:30! Looks like a fun project and a neat fire pit.

I like these types of videos as well
A hint of humor in this one 👍
Would tig welding the whole thing be a crazy idea? Figure it would be good practice. Nice video 🤙
I thought the same thing about my battleship build and still think it was a crazy idea... but great practice. 😉
you could for sure but it would take twice as long
You could, it would just take forever and you'd have to clean the mill scale off the material if you want it to look nice.
I made one out of 1/4 plate sides and a 3/8 base in the shape of a stop sign then tried to pick it up by hand lol dumb idea, nice work as always

smooth weld... wish I can target on that kind finish
😂 thinking out of the box !
Most of those welds are prettier than my tig weld's. 😳
TH-cam channles push tig far to much (especially on car channels) where mig would be just as good and quicker.
Great
Hard wire mig is the easiest for beginners but very hard to actually master
cool!
got to love down hill mig

Cool stuff but a bit pricey for DIY kits in my opinion. I was expecting like 150-200. 🤷🏼♂️👍🏻🇺🇲
A grinder and paint makes a welder I ain't.
Is the fit up good enough for autogenous TIG?
I'd pulse a few. Maybe try some silicon bronze, too. Easy enough to get around project to try several processes.
