    Great idea showing the electrified side. I hope you include some hardtail mountain bikes as well.

    Subbed! Thanks for your ebike reviews! A little surprised to hear that you were getting flak from the acoustic folks. Ebikes are here to stay and to me, as long as they get more people out there to ride, its all good!

      I agree m3drive! I'm 2600 trail miles in two years later, less hate this year than last because the e mtn biker in Utah is of a demographic that appreciates freedom. My private theory is last year eebs would show off at 9am in the parking lot vs analogs. This year, eeebs go super early, late, power hours and are on trails that many intermediate analogs only dream about. I've not seen any trail issues in PC/DV/Coyote Hollow/JEM. Connor is the best when it comes to being funny, transparent and BE Kaysville is a top shop for customer service.

    Wish you could include an modded Orbea Rise in this lineup. Bunch of people (including myself) are running them 160/160 MX or 150/160 29er. Ya I know Orbea wouldn't be too happy, BUT the online community for that bike is huge.

    Although I have got my Orbea Rise M10 three weeks ago I am still interested what's going on on the heavier side of electric world. And this video sums it up very well!

    I don’t have an E bike, I’m not willing to sacrifice my manhood and take a hit on my Testosterone levels yet, however I will still watch these reviews.

    New to both channels, subscribed to this one directly bc eMTBs :-)
    Not sure if this might already be in planning, but would love to see a review on the SC Bullit XT as middle price range for them. Compare it maybe to the Yeti, Heckler, and YT Decoy MX (please. I know they are D2C, but would be epic to get some professional comparisons there). All the best!

      We did a 2022 ebike showdown recently with the Heckler, 160e, Altitude and Repeater. No Bullit or YT unfortunately

    Awesome video. I think the Hekler or possibly Trance is more of my riding style. I love the suspension on Santa cruz bikes (I ride a Tallboy currently), although the climbing ability and quietness of the trance would be nice.

    Its a pity you've felt the need to make a separate channel dedicated to emtbs Connor. I would have thought that in 2022, riders would have moved forward and accepted that ebikes aren't going away (even if they're more expensive). Nevertheless, I'll still follow this channel just as I've followed 'Bikers Edge'.
    If I may make a suggestion, try covering emtb's which are somewhat niche / boutique compared to the truly mainstream brands (just like your main channel). I appreciate that you may be restricted to what ebikes you can cover subject to availability and what your shop carries. But do your utmost buddy.
    I wish you the best in your new channel and keep up BOTH regular and emtb content 👍🏿

      Thanks for the feedback and support! It's a bit of a bummer that there's still so much negativity around ebikes, but here we are. Splitting up the channel should be the best of both worlds.

    • @m3drivr

      @Bryan One reason I don’t like the brand is the non competitive nature of Spesh. I’ve spoken to local LBS owners and if you carry their bikes, you can’t carry much of other brands. They are crazy anticompetitive as a brand. Make good bikes but there are in a way, bad for the bike industry.

    • @brysonhollar
      @brysonhollar 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@m3drivr I believe what you’re observing is region specific as my local dealer carry’s Specialized, Santa Cruz, Norco, Marin and Ibis. Why do you say they’re in a bad way? I’ve personally seen them cover items under warranty without batting an eye. My shop guys prefer to deal with them on warranty claims than any other brand they carry.

    • @m3drivr
      @m3drivr 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brysonhollar Sorry for mis-spelling your name! Here in CA, Spesh reps don't like it if you carry other brands in store. If you sign up with them, they require that a high percentage of bikes carried at the store is theirs. You will see a mix at some stores, but the range and # of the other brands tends to be muted. One bike store owner even commented to me that when he carried them, the rep came in and audited the # of spesh products like tubes etc that they were selling vs. other brands (why they sold the others more). Another store owner told me that because they carried the new Heckler SC when it it was launched, Spesh blackballed them for 2 months, delaying the release of the Levo SL to the store. As to the reason why they are bad (for perspective, I have had spesh bikes, currently have a e gravel bike from their line) for the industry, its anti-competitive especially for the smaller indy brands trying to break into the scene. Look, I'm not saying that their products are bad (some are actually very good!), but their anti-competitive nature makes me look at other brands first. Hope this helps lift the veil. As I said, I like their products but as a brand culture, not so much. SC is excellent on their warranties and are considered the best (this may have changed since their acquisition; I've never had to make a claim).

    As much as i like the giant suspension wise, the motor is another story. After 1000 miles in 6 months, motor decided to stop working. LBS couldn’t figure out what’s going on. First it was the sensor, it was changed still motor not working. 3 months on LBS & Giant could’t figure out what’s going in🤦‍♂️👎

      @@BikersEdgeKaysville not yet. It will be 3 months by sept 1. LBS trying to figure out what’s wrong. Nothing shows up in diagnostics. Giant sent a new sensor, but not the fix. LBS checking wires/cable. Love how it rides tho. Bought e+reign coz of ur review on trance X e+😉🤙
