I'm sure your parents have good reasons and there's lots of other things on Netflix they wouldn't want you watching. Lot's of people think Netflix is overpriced, too, so they're not weird for saying no to it. I'll say what Dale should have said, and it's that your reward for being respectful of your parents' decision will outweigh the brief satisfaction of watching the Netflix show. Plus! I'm sure Dale and his crew are still going to be on TH-cam so don't sweat it! 😎
I don't think I ever "wanted to be a cowboy". I liked the look of horses and wanted to ride them and know them but wrangling cattle and such-meh. It seems that riding fence lines and working 150,000 acre ranches and living out in it was not for me. I love riding my motorcycle in Montana and Wyoming and North and South Dakota and Eastern Oregon and seeing an occasional "real" cowboy is wonderful and I feel historical to "The Country" but that life must be really hard. I always wanted to learn to rope too and made a lasso when I was around 10 and kind of got the hang of it but that was then and this is now. I hope while the Netflix thing is going on there'll still be Rodeo Time on TH-cam. Thanks DB and all the rest. I still think Willie is a genius.
