Kakarot was truly a Dragon Ball retelling in game form in its truest potential. Yes, we’ve had other games, but they’ve always been about beating the other opponent. Kakarot is truly the first of the game series to take in the story telling aspect such as games like God Of War, Uncharted, and others. The game was not only a faithful retelling of the original Z, but used every single aspect as much as possible. For fans who came after Z, and never got the chance to watch the original, they have the availability to experience it in not only a game, but a fully realized game that stayed true to its story.

They missed Vegeta going super saiyan for the first time, Vegeta's super saiyan grade 2 transformation and Vegeta's final flash. They also missed Vegeta fight with Goku in the Buu saga.

Im'a be honest. That was a very stupid decision Gohan made to face them alone. He was smart enough to know he would die because in his last encounter with them the only reason he survived was because Trunks backed him up and they got away. If he had waited and trained Trunks for a little while longer he may have finally transformed and they would have stood a fighting chance.
