    Hello
Since JEE Mains/Advanced/other national level engineering entrance exams results have not been out yet for the academic year 2024, so shall I apply for NTU now or should I apply when the results are out, but if i chose to apply after the results then application period would close, So i would be compelled to apply for the next academic year.
So basically I wish to ask whether NTU would accept if i apply next year with all engineering exams score and a year old class 12th result?
Moreover what would be your suggestion between both the ways i.e (1.apply now without any engineering exam results, with pre-existing achievements and academics
    2. Apply next year with all the engineering exam results along with pre-existing achievements/academics)

Hi Rickz, you will have to meet the minimum requirements. Other than that, you can strengthen your application through olympiads, extra curriculars, personal statement etc.

      Hey
I got into NTU this year and based on what I observed I think it depends on whether you had applied for tuition grant.
Since this year cbse had split the bord exams in term 1 and term 2, NTU is only considering your term 1 marks as they commence classes by the end of july and there is no certainty of getting our term 2 results by then. I got 93% on my term 1 boards but since I'm a Singapore permanent Resident this was enough for me. But my friends who held the international students status couldn't get in even though they had scored 99%. Another friend of mine had scored only 93% and got in even though she was an international student. This was because she didn't apply for tuition grant. Another friend of mine has also been selected for double degree programme even though she is an international student. So I believe that if you applied without tuition grant then I'd say you have a great chance of getting in but if not don't lose hope they would still consider your application as your score is quite. Also it depends on the course your applying to. Medicine and Law are almost impossible to get in while engineering is relatively easier.

I am currently a 12thie and i have some few queries regarding ntu/nus,i will be very grateful if you answer them.
1)Did you sign the moe bond?If yes then is there any specific criteria that we should clear to sign the 6 year bond? anything like academic score or ecs.
      2) Are extracurriculars important to get admission in ntu/nus?
3)Did your jee advance result create any impact on your profile? because if have heard admission procedure start before jee adv result.
4)I am currently working hard to score 97+ in my 12th boards,so can i get admission into ntu/nus just on the basis of my board marks?
5)Why did you choose nsu over IITs/NITs?
I will be very thankful if you answer these queries
And i wish you good luck for the next 4 years of your life,i hope we meet at nsu next year :)
