Hi Pickerrs, You should be ok if you run 16psi or even a bit less, maybe 12-14psi. A couple of spots where it’s quite soft but just keep it moving at a reasonable pace and you would be ok. It’s soft as you enter the lagoon going in. Keep to the left track. After the Emu where the track leaves the lagoon it’s a left turn, plant it through there (the turn) and on up the hill. Then as you come out by the sea the track becomes soft sand again. Same thing, keep it moving and you should be good. It’s a great fun track. Enjoy it 👍. Always someone coming along during the day so if you get stuck, you will get out. But yeh in a nut shell I recon you would be fine. Cheer Greg
Hi. Was a few years ago since we did it. Conditions change. Back then you would probably do it if you dropped your tyre pressure right down and give it the berries in the soft stuff. Only two places that were soft deep sand. If you get stuck there are usually others coming along who could give you a tow out. Most of it is pretty good. Have fun. Post some pics
@@growellyfilm hey thanks for the reply! It's only a new vehicle to me and I have zero 4wd experience so I think I'll have to be better prepared first 😃. I drove on Long beach and that was exciting and scary haha.
Thanks for this. On the chance that you see this comment, do you think the sand track would be drivable for a Mitsubishi Outlander 4WD with road tyres (at a lower pressure)? Thanks
@@growellyfilm no, didn't try in the end. caution prevailed over adventure. still found plenty of great, drivable routes in the port lincoln national park.

Towing my off road camper over there soon. The tug is a GU Patrol. Can't wait.
You will love this track and the camping. Awesome place to be. ENJOY
