Regarding using married/maiden name: I used my married name for WES application. In the WES Academic Request Form, there's also space for "previous name (if applicable)" where I put my maiden name. One of the "other/extra" documents we submitted for EE profile was our marriage certificate for support in case ma-question yung name difference. -- We created our WES profile July 15 and received our complete evaluation (digital) on Sept 10. So, it took approximately 2 months. Take note, this was pre-covid times and your timeline is dependent on your specific situation.

Hi Nez, we asked our universities to send original copies of our TORs to WES. Original documents refer to mastercopies or the first file which all other copies are taken from.

Ito po ay “equivalency assessment”. Ibig sabihin, ang course mo sa Pilipinas, i-a-assess nila kung ano ang katumbas sa Canada. Hindi lang sa gaano katagal ka nag-aral, pero pati rin ang mga inaral mo. Sa case namin, yung 4-year bachelor’s degree ko (wife) ay katumbas ng isang bachelor’s degree sa Canada, at ang 5-year course ni husband ay katumbas ng isang 3-year course sa Canada.

Quite tricky because the website stated that if you have a Master's degree, you dont need to submit your bachelor's... what thye wanted is the highest education... "If you have a master’s degree… You do not need to submit your bachelor’s degree for evaluation." Hope this helps

It depends on what WES requires from you, specifically. If you are having your college degree assessed, USUALLY only the college TOR is required. Again, it depends on what WES asks from you. They will provide information about what you need to submit for your assessment.

Hello Nathaniel, it depends on your specific case and what WES will ask from you. For us, WES only asked for our TORs. They may or may not ask you for a copy of your diploma as well.

Hello. It depends on your potential employer. In our case, we were not asked for our WES assessments because we were already PR when we applied for jobs.

mauuna po ang payment sa WES. Kailangan po ng reference number from WES bago kayo magrequest ng documents sa school nyo.

We created our WES profile July 15 and received our complete evaluation (digital) on Sept 10. So, it took approximately 2 months. Take note, this was pre-covid times and your timeline is dependent on your specific situation.

Hello Nathaniel, it depends on your specific case and what WES will ask from you. For us, WES only asked for our TORs. They may or may not ask you for a copy of your diploma as well.

I got 2 diplomas from PH po, 1 is a 3 year course and proceeded 1 year for me to get a degree. I have my TOR na naka red ribbon from DFA sa pinas pa. dala2 ko to now dito sa Canada. Do I need to get my credentials evaluated sa WES for future employment purposes?
Hello. It depends on your potential employer. In our case, we were not asked for our WES assessments because we were already PR when we applied for jobs.

I attended a webinar with one agency dito sa pinas.. they said that they are going to evaluate our credentials first? May possibility ba na May ma improve before sending to WES? and also husband is a college undergrad.. pwede din ba sya magpa assess? Seaman sya,, I tried to fill out the form sa WES indicating his school but Hindi daw inaaccept ng WES ang maritime school.. hope somebody can give me an idea po. salamat..so interested to be in Calgary😀
