Thanks for the guide. I just made a sorc tank and have begun leveling so this guide comes at the perfect time. I am really excited about the changes coming for sorc tanks in update 41. I'm wondering which changes do you think will be the most impactful and how might they affect the build?
Hey, you're welcome and thanks for the comment. So I think first of all, passively we will have some buffs (slightly higher max stats and more damage shields). Secondly, some of the skill changes give us more flexibility (area major maim, group shields). The change with most impact is potentially the heal added to hardened ward/regenerative ward. Will need to test this but it may give an option to drop clannfear as our burst heal. Which would give more bar flexibility for perhaps slotting one of the other buffed skills. Dropping clannfear is probably the main thing that may change about the build if the shield heal is enough, however the build as is, will still work perfectly fine and will overall be buffed.
From a sustain point of view, you might not need to cast them often for a lot of basic dungeons and easier dlc ones. However they are still both worth running and keeping up for their independent benefits. Balance - major resolve, dark deal - exploitation passive. Then the fact that together they constantly keep up our resources makes them overall really good to run together.

Do you think the Balance/Dark coversion combo is a bit OTT for most dungeons?
