Bourbon Boys Review: Episode 81 - Old Soul Single Barrel

We have an interesting one for you this week. Joe picked this one up just across the Ohio River at Deps in Fort Thomas KY. We didn't know too much about it but the dark color we normally fall for won again. Will this dark colored bourbon trick us again or will it become an awesome new find. I bought the same bottle. There's a nice dark fruit note that comes out as the bottle opens up.

@Joe W yes I did indeed. My initial assessment was exactly the same as yours. Lots of dark sweet Oak and brown sugar, but then as it opened up about halfway through the bottle, that dark cherry, and maybe even a plum note came out of nowhere. Hopefully, L.B. still has more of these picks, but I doubt it. Lol
