Expertly done. Captures the anxiety and the paranoia behind the text beautifully.
Just wish it coukd be longer ;)

This is amazing, I came here right after having read the story and this really portrays the anxiety of the original!! And that soundtrack fits so well. I don't understand how this doesn't have a million views!

Kafka is something of an acquired taste, & this is a lesser known work..

Gorgeous work man ! Very scary the part inside the burrow ! Just one note: I would have preferred that the final monster remained a supposition of the protagonist !

Hmmmm, is it *certain* whether or not it was a supposition? 😉

Nice to hear from you again! I’m doing quite well. Been productive thanks to all the new generative AI stuff, which is nice. Good luck with the literary seminar!

This will give me nightmares. Great work!! What's the music in the introduction? Please credit the musicians

Myrto H The composer is Robert Bruce and the piece is called "Circles". It's in the end credits. It's a fantastic neoclassical piece and I think it complements the thematic content of the Kafka source material nicely. Upon hearing it I knew there was no question as to whether or not it would be included.

@@FRandAI I'm apologise for not noticing the credits. Great work again, I do agree with you about the music fitting perfectly. Have a lovely day!

Beautiful set design, I loved the forest especially.
My main critique is that I think it could've been executed better.
The pacing was too slow and I watched for four minutes to find that still nothing was happening. I understand you have to set the scene, but I was too bored to keep watching. Try to capture your audiences attention more by having a stronger narrative and something to focus on. The opening just seemed like a jumble of stills that had overdosed on the Ken Burns effect.
However, as a fellow animator, I know how much work you must have put into this piece. You should definitely be proud and keep making more!!

@@FRandAI Thanks for reading it, I hope I wasn't too harsh.

Great video with fantastic sets and awesome characters :)

Good animation, but the "protagonist" looks too much like a teddy bear, so all the angst of Kafka's original is lost.
