I love Carla or Madz, I know her since when I was young because I’m from Nasugbu Batangas. I met her when I participated in the Barangay Pageant in Nasugbu and she handed over the thropy to me. Yep, I completely agree with your sister 100%. Filipino food are unhealthy most of time except if you are going to make some modifications or you're in a province where people eat lots of vegetables and fish and didn't use any kind of preservatives except salt.

Well ,i agree with Hailey in her saying our food is really not all that healthy bec we eat alot of pork,use alot of salt and soysauce,fry our foods and use some sugar...but on the otherhand,look at the french people and their cuisine,they use butter all the time...and their skinny people and the heart problems there are one of the lowest in the world....its bec of how they eat and not what they eat...they eat slowly,they savor and enjoy what they're eating and they drink wine during their meal...so i guess it's just a matter of enjoying the food...and yes...its for your soul...

I guess haley need to learn more about our food there's a lot of healthy Food or delicacies all around the country i think she just need to research and do not eat the typical well known fatty food which i think she's pertaining to.. example. "Denengdeng" is a healthy food mixture of diff. vegetables. 😁

Actually, Haley is right. There was a study in Asia and Filipinos had the highest cholesterol based on our food. Still, there are healthy options if one removes the pork in our food and the rich ingredients and we come up with more vegan options. What Haley probably doesn’t know is that there’s a Filipina American who had her own vegan fast food spot at uc Berkeley called Sariwa and also once heard San Francisco had a Filipino vegan food fest when I was there.
To add, though: American food is not healthy, too so I am curious if I Haley is into the Mediterranean cuisine which is regarded as the healthiest food.
