id like somebody explain to me why dang near everybody says elka sucks and they dont like them . but yet all the pros ride elka . ive never rode elka before only custom axis . so this is a legit question because im about to buy long travel suspension for my trx450r . back in the early 2000s when i got into racing , somebody said " if youre not sure what parts to run look at the pros " . at the time it was 250R's and custom axis
@@pghdave420 if pep wasnt back ordered back in 02 , id have them instead of axis . i started racing mx in early 01 at about 13 or 14 years old on my 250r . 05 was my last race and i stopped riding in 08 do to no local tracks in my state would lets quads ride . i trained all of 2018 and started racing again in 2019 for the LACC doing xc . 2020 got reworded as most improved atv and won 3rd in points for the series in B class on the same 250r i started on . lol . what about you man ? im sure since you was around then you had have raced on a 250r lol
@@pghdave420 thats awesome dude lets keep riding lol . im about do 05 spendels and hubs on my 07 trx450r for handling . im about to be in the market for a 2016+ yamaha 450 build into a national xc quad . id like to run vet A 40+ in a hand full of years
@@pghdave420 lol hell yeah thats what im thinking . i got out for 10 years and it was the worst 10 years for my life lol . im not 40 yet only be 36 this August . but it is my plans to be racing in that class . people have always told me i couldve gone pro . so too me if i win vet A 40+ , it would be equal to winning as a pro . its always been my dream . a buddy that i race with is 48 and still gives B class a run lol .
@@pghdave420 man me too . ktm is a beast my buddy at the training facilty we ride at has a 09 ktm450 quad thats pretty tough . if ktm was the first to come back with 2 stoke that would be badass
