Being called by God is prerequisite.
Caliming to have been called because it's the family business and you already know all the words though, isn't the same as finding the actual purpose of your earthly existence is to spread the Gospel and lead people in following it.

Agree. interesting that the host doesnt believe the bible is true. this channel is reformed yet the bible speaks of free will and election in verses practically side by side. Although they appear totally contridictory they are both true. Both sides try to get you to take their side and both sides ignore the verses they dont like. harles Spurgeon explained it like this: God chooses and man chooses. It is a mystery but both are true.

It's strange that Andy fell so far away from his father. It's disturbing to see and hear that Andy is preaching another gospel. As a student at Dallas Theological Seminary, I attended a satellite church of Andy's. It was a trainwreck. He completely misused John 17 and Hebrews 11. I was deeply saddened because I followed his father Charles, and still watch his sermons today.

He had recommended a man who was in a relationship with another man while he was still married to get a divorce. He is proud that these two men are married and serving in his church. And the man’s ex-wife and child comes to the same Church. And is a false teacher. I loved Charles Stanley also But Charles should have rebuked his son 20 years ago. Having visited one of his branches a few times with a family member(who within the past few months I finally convinced to walk away from there) after I moved to the Atlanta area, it became very clear what his mission is. This man will say whatever it takes to get as many people to show up as possible. He is a shrewd businessman, who has carved a niche for his brand of teaching. He twisted Christianity in this way so the people he attracts don't actually have to believe or do anything Christian.
I've said this before, but notice how every single one of his mainline facilities, including the one currently under construction, is placed in a highly affluent area? Guess the less fortunate areas don't need his message for some reason...

He hid things that were going on in the church, changed teachings dramatically at the church, and humiliated people in front of the entire church. The final straw for me was how political he was in regard to Israel, even while pretending to be apolitical. He also taught that Christianity was still evolving, and that is why teachings were changing.

Andy’s statement falls apart when you remember that to believe that Jesus was able to resurrect from the dead, you have to first believe He was incarnated as God in the flesh which is a completely different miracle so that makes 3 and on and on it goes as a lot of the miracles are interdependent. This is not the extent of the reason for Andy's fall, but it's part of it: He's been REBELLING against the Baptists and even his father, for decades. I've seen this with other people, even a recently passed cousin: going the opposite direction because of negative feelings against his deceased father. Andy, Charles and Anna (Andy's late mother) were in counseling but apparently it did no good for Andy. And then there's the psychiatric question...Anna had severe mental issues and Charles even had a few, as he admitted a few times. Is this a psychological issue with Andy now as he's gotten older? (I'm saying all of this as one who once was a BIG fan of Andy's teaching.)

WARNING: If a teacher uses "God" as a way to get rich in this world, then avoid them like the plague. "Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God CHOSEN THE POOR of this world RICH IN FAITH, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?" (James 2:5). Andy did not get his ideas from a stranger. It was his clueless dad helping him in the wrong direction. They agree together. I turn my car-radio off when Stanley came on. Support of the Promise Keepers is one of them. Of course if you are one of his countless victims you will never know.
Charles Stanley said that even those who stop believing in Christ cannot be lost. For example Stanley writes: "The Bible clearly teaches that God's love for His people is of such magnitude that even those who walk away from the faith have not the slightest chance of slipping from
    His hand." p. 74
"The unfaithful believer will not receive a special place in the kingdom of Christ like those who are fortunate enough to be allowed to reign with Him. But the unfaithful believer will not lose his/her salvation." p. 93
"The apostle's meaning is evident. Even if a believer for all practical purposes becomes an unbeliever, his salvation is not in jeopardy. Christ will remain faithful." p.93
"And last, believers who lose or abandon their faith will retain their salvation, for God remains faithful." p. 94.
Men, like Charles Stanley, are like a nest of termites. Through neglect, they have been allowed to gnaw at the foundational teachings of Christ until much of the professing church is ready to cave in because it is not based upon the obedience of faith.
Contrary to Stanley’s claims: “Jesus warned believers that those who were workers of iniquity (lawlessness) would be rejected on judgement day: "Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU: DEPART FROM ME, YE THAT WORK INIQUITY" Matt 7:21-23 (KJV)
In a book by Charles Stanley called Eternal Security. In regards to the parable Jesus taught in Matthew 25:14-30, Stanley writes:
The final verse of this parable is so severe that many commentators assume it is a description of hell. It is not. (p. 124) Where is this place represented by the “outer darkness” in Jesus’ parable? To be in the “outer darkness” is to be in the kingdom of God but outside the circle of men and women whose faithfulness on this earth earned them a special rank or position of authority. (p. 126) Charles believed that one can earn things in Salvation. It always came out in his sermons. He would be a good catholic priest.

I find this video confusing. Andy is saying something about believing in creation and believing in Jesus. You give no context of what was actually being said. I don't know if you have to believe in creation, unless some understanding of the fall and the depravity of man is somehow part of that. But, yes, belief in the resurrection of Jesus is absolutely essential (Romans 10:9).

God has Elect, His Chosen, those He has Predestined for Salvation unto Adoption, from BEFORE The Foundation of the world, before time, ALL over the world, waiting to be regenerated by the HEARING of the WORD, The Gospel, The Good News, to be Born Again and filled with the Holy Spirit, once for all, their heart of stone replaced with a heart of flesh, sins forgiven by the Blood of Christ by His death, Burial, and Resurrection for Original Sin, and our sin, being Sanctified, Justified, and Glorified, by the Sovereign work of our Triune God, God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. This is The Gospel of which we have no part but to come when we are called. "My sheep hear my voice, and they come to Me...A stranger's voice they will not follow..."
