Never give up man! you could be the next sonicfox or Justin wong! Don't forget ive been playing these games since 2004 competitively. I have a lot of knowledge and you will too. Just be patient, don't rush yourself. Every game is more experience and every game you get better. I'd reccomend telling yourself one thing you did wrong every time you play a game. just one. Even if its like oh i didnt block this, or oh I dropped this combo. Don't get discouraged, use it to understand where you lack knowledge :) I believe in you!

I have been tinkering with Darkseid since release and I wanted to do a combo video too but i have no idea how to get my ps4 recording for youtube like that... just wanted to leave a quick mention about another very useful tool for positioning since darkseid is a zoning character and that is to cancel into teleport with f 2, 3 or even d2 to switch sides and move into better positions on the stage. You can continue the combo after the teleport as well. Thanks for the content!

I cannot seem to time the back 3 off of Doom Stomp... it just won't come out fast enough for me. I mean, it's most likely I just need to work on the timing a bit more, but it seems a lot more difficult than it does in the video here.
So I've been maining Darkseid for a few days now, and I played an ESL match the other day and got completely trashed by black adam. I honestly don't know what I did wrong, I literally only got like 3-4 hits in each match and lost all 3. It was like there was no way to get a move in, the guy just kept hitting combo strings that seemed to always be plus on block.
Better Combo.. J2 F2 3 into B1 U3 MB B3 into the Jump 3 Doom Stomp. 27 hit combo for solid Mid Corner Combo is again B1 U3 Meteor into the F3 then Wait for a split second NJ3 Doom Stomp.
No he's not "shit", but those combos aren't more optimal; the corner combo isn't good if you want to keep him in the corner without letting your opponent to much room to easily get out

Great vid. I found out (thanks to your first combo) in the corner that instead of doing the j2 into 1,2 df2 you can do j3 df3 and get more damage.
