    This looks great.... what is that vegetarian stir fry sauce? It looks like oyster sauce.

      Thank you so much! 🤩 We used the Lee Kum Kee Vegetarian Stir Fry Sauce, you can typically find them in the Asian aisle of most supermarkets. It's very similar to Oyster Sauce but is plant-based. 😊

    Can i use other saladmaster cookware instead of electric skillet?

      Hi Ms. Alice,
      Yes, you can use other Saladmaster cookware such as the Braiser Pan, the 5 Qt. Wok or the 11" Large Skillet. You can set the temperature to medium heat and, when the vapo-valve starts clicking steadily, turn the heat to low. Hope this helps!

    How about if you will be cooking half the amount of what you cooked do you adjust the timer and heat?

    Mam Naomi. Ano po ang measurement ng liquid broth na idinagdag mo. One liter po ba? One kilo din po ba yung combined noodles na ginamit?

      Hello Ms. Ruth,
      These are the measurements that we used for the Pancit:
      - 1 Full Carton of Chicken Broth (32 oz or 1 Liter)
      - 1/2 pack of Super Q Bihon (8 oz or 1/4 kilogram)
      - 1 pack of UFC Canton Noodles (8 oz or 1/4 kilogram).
      However, you can use your preferred brand of Bihon and Canton Noodles. You can also change the recipe depending on how much you need.

    It didn't work. I followed your setting. You did not pre-heat, right?

      Hello Ms. Kay,
      We did not pre-heat the EOC, we set the temperature at 450°F for 10 minutes. If following these settings don't work, we encourage you to make sure the cover and the vapo-valve is completely down and that there is a sufficient amount of Chicken Broth. Also, cooking the Pancit for 12-13 minutes at 450°F may help as different types of noodles may require a longer cooking time.

    how many ml of broth should be use?? hindi ko kasi maperfect ung pansit ko sa saladmaster dahil madalas kulang sa liquid... Saka kapag combine pansit bihon at canton how many grams maximum ang kaya sa isang salang ng skillet...tnx

      Hello po,
      We usually use 1 pack of pancit (~16 oz. or ~450 grams) and 1/2 pack of Super Q Bihon (~4 oz. or ~110 grams) and that would comfortably fill up the EOC. For the broth, we use one whole carton of Chicken Broth which is about ~960 mL.

    Why 450 degrees if nutrients are loose after100 degrees temperature?

      Hello Ms. Nicole,
      Thank you for your question! The EOC was not preheated prior to the placing of the ingredients so the EOC was cold and would need time to heat up to a level that would cook the noodles within a shorter time period. Once it reaches the optimal temperature (the point at which the nutrients are still preserved), the Vapo-Valve will start to click to allow the hot air to escape and informing whoever is cooking that the temperature needs to be reduced to prevent the ingredients from overheating and losing their nutritional value. However, the heat is turned off after only 10 minutes so it’s possible that the Vapo-Valve does not click indicating that the inside of the EOC does not reach this level.
      It’s necessary for there to be enough heat to kill off the bacteria and cook a large amount of food. While the temperature of the EOC may seem high, the temperature of the ingredients themselves do not reach such high temperatures because the heat is distributed to all the ingredients within the EOC to cook them thoroughly. The high temperature is needed to first heat the pan, and have enough heat to cook all of the pancit inside the EOC within 10 minutes. The 450 degree temperature does not go directly to the food because the heat must go through the EOC first.
      This method is similar to baking in an oven where the temperature is initially high because it will take time to heat the oven, heat the pan and then have enough heat to bake what is inside the pan.
