Facts, I wish they would’ve put more out when they were in their prime back then.
Agreed
@@GATHLETICSit just sucks because when Eazy Died the label screwed them over
Nwa ring a bell?
The ignorance gives me a headache.
This new generation!…Wheeeeeww! Probably like how baby boomer parents were when the 90s music came along 😩
Right....parents didn't educate. Much love. BONE THUGS !
This dude is shocked and confused. Poor kid!
😂😂😂😂
He needs a hug!
Put some auto-tune on it, he’ll be fine
I am 46, I remember the day this premiered on MTV, this was so ahead of its time- it was mind blowing. Great times!!
I understand everything they are saying, I hear it clearly.
This track came out when I was in 6th grade I’m 40 now I smoked my first blunt to Bone Thugs best group of all time.
Word for word I have the same exact story. Trippy
40 yes old grew up on bone from cali
Story of my life lol
How this dude not know that you can search (artist/song lyrics) and almost every lyric is available .
#Facts
These kids expect EVERYTHING to be handed to them. Real research would take"work. "
@@JayO4174not really, fam. And it’s sad cause technology is so accommodating now. lil bro could simply go to genius and search up lyrics to any and every song he wants. I’m a part of the generation that just got that kindve tech so we still had to just listen to songs a million times to learn the lyrics until they put them on google.
The reason I dug this group so much. Was they did what you were supposed to do with Hip Hop. That was be different and make Hip Hop yours and stand out in your own lane. And just advance the culture.
!!!!FACTS!!!!💯
BTNH are legends here in New Zealand🇳🇿 🙌💯 forever greatful for their music & originality.
Real talk!! Facts 👍🏾💯💯
Lol that's how we feel about this new mumble rap filled with autotune
Wait!! Did he say music has advanced? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I couldn’t watch anymore after that, I damn near spit out my coffee…
Thank you. I was going to say the same thing but figured I would make sure someone else didn't say it already. How is de-evolving advancement?

Big big facts
This song was an introduction song as to who they were. If you notice, The Hook says its the thuggish ruggish bone! Meaning this is who you are.listening to. Then each member tells you a little about themselves and what their group life in their city.
Best rabbithole ever. true thug since i was 16 saw the dudes live in melkweg Amsterdam. Cop "No surrender" and "Down 4 my thang" and then skibobble over to the E1999 eternal album.
4:33 they’re rapping the “lingo/slang” from that time period. I innerstand becuz I grew up listening to them and being in Cleveland so I get it…I guess it’s one of those things where “u just had to be there”. Plus Tasha killed it too!! 🔥
Not understandable? Compared to music now this definitely better then that mumble rap migos type shit.
They're saying this is not where you want to be.😅😅😅
Facts, don't come around here. We understood it in the 90s lol
This was and is the SHIT🫵🏼💪🏼👊🏾
With Bone they use original terminology and their aliases. Bizzy is Ripster Krazy is Leatherface Lazy is No 1 Assassin Wish is Straight Jacket Flesh is the 5th Dog. If you wanna hear an under rated song check out No Mercy by Flesh w/ Big Pun and Fat Joe.
I remember being real small in the back of a soccer dad van hearing this song. 90s music was so cool, everything felt brand new, hard to explain it. Probably a lot like our parents/grandparents felt during the hippie days and Jimi Hendrix was innovating music.
This song screams 1994 for me every time I hear it. I was in my freshman year of highschool and we danced to this on the pompom squad😊. I think if the early 90s had 1 song to represent it, this would be it😊❤
You're right, Thuggish Ruggish Bone is/was pretty much a gritty intro into what the group grew up around. However, this is just a sneak peek into what the group grew INTO as musicians. I promise you won't regret sticking with the group and listening to their catalogue. Music with a message. IMO, still the greatest group to ever do it.
Best group in the 90's!!!
Best group throughout all of eternity
best group in all of History
that was eazy e in the video. hes the one who brought bone thugs to mainstream
Bone My All time favorite 🖤🖤🖤🖤
doesnt matter gen its listening.really listening
Gotta check out the lyrics..this is basically the intro of Bone to the world. Their first single from their first commercial album.Like...this is us..we are here...this is our hood..city, where we come from...what we about. Another hit from their 1st album is "No Surrender" need to check that one out. Its more raw and the beat goes even harder.
Exactly! It's the intro.
I’ll go one more… “Creepin on ah Come Up” as well!
All you got to do is.......listen youngsta
So at this time in life.... I was about 15 or 16... when lyrics started talking about drugs and guns.... and then the society developed into what you hear on the radio/tv today.... only a few years before this song... Boyz in the Hood and Dr. Dre....
This was the anthem for street life in Cleveland Ohio and changed the way people perceived Midwest life in comparison to West or East coast life which were more prominently featured on tv and video. As for the lyrics, this is actually one of their easier songs to understand, a mix of upbeat rap and r&b flow known as the flip-flop-flow a trademarked style that many still try to emulate. I suggest watching a lyric video afterwards and training your ears to listen more articulately and enjoy the largest selling rap group to this day with more than 4,000 songs out and still releasing albums and solos annually.
Them and twista really put on a lot for the Midwest during that time
Real talk, crazy how the midwest is so similar. This song resonated hard with us Flintstones!

Facts!!💯
This track was a this is who we are coming out party they are thuggish they are ruggish bone thugs n harmony.
The track is like we are thugs we are going to fuck you up.
Bizzy killed it lyrically, Krays cadence is off the chain lay had so much energy, and Wish pretty much every track is the I’m going to rob and fight someone.
This song was nothing more than a "Hi! We are.." and one of the observations you made was that you can't understand everything that they're saying. That simply boils down to speed and the words blending together. Some of it works better than other parts. When this song came out, people hadn't heard anything close to "speedy raps" quite yet. Cadence wasn't anyone's aim. When Bizzy says "Gotta give it on up to the glock glock-- Pop pop, you drop when the buck shots BLOWWWW" it wasn't just him throwing words in there. E.99 and St. Clair is known as a place where people carry doubled glocks. Every rhyme does make sense, even if you don't know all of the slang. These guys created some of the street slang. That's just one of the many things that make Bone Thug & Harmony great. They brought a fresh new style to the mainstream! Easy E was who put them on and shortly after... Easy was gone. I won't say they had no help, but Bone did 90% of everything when it came to putting their albums together. "Mo Thug" was the first sort of "No Limit" that we ever saw too! These guys were pioneers in many ways...
And... a not so fun fact, Bizzy Bone was once a missing child. He was found and rescued by Matt Walsh's America's Most Wanted tv show. And millions of people are grateful for that!
Fun Fact, though... the voice in the beginning... "we aren't against rap..." That was Cleveland mayor Michael White, the at the time, current mayor.
That wasn't the mayor of Cleveland that was the Reverend Calvin Butts who said that
When they say The "Glock Glock" or the "Double glock" its a reference to the street that they lived on (East 1999) because they imagined the 99 in it as looking like two glocks.. . So "gotta give it on up the glock glock' is Bizzy giving up props to the 99 where he's from and yeah also with a double meaning that people on that street will rob you with real glocks too.
One thing you need to know about Gen Z is that they ruined hip hop and rap lol. Nothing like the original. Back then rappers rapped because they had something to say. Nowadays rappers rap because they have to say something.
Facts. This my favorite group, but "Em'" has evolved/matured into being the absolute GOAT in this game. I wish he could get ALL the OGs to come out with Fire, all at the same time.
If anyone hasn't heard of him, there's an independent rapper named Knoxhill...check the dude out and see how he STUDIES and breaks down bat's in songs, especially Eminem.
@@JayO4174 Yeah definitely. I think it died once TuPac and Biggie died. If Pac and Biggie were still around, 90% of these shitty rappers wouldn't even exist lol. Also mumble rap wouldn't ever be a thing....
I consider m&m in this group maybe leader...I haven't heard M&M bar in almost 20 years probably....thank GOD
If you STUDY "EMINEM," understand the English language from a grammatical perspective, and get the wordplay and use of metaphors... You'd understand why he is above everyone else. Oh, hope you understand Eminem and "Slim Shady" are not the same.
@@Awoodward7899 Yeah, Em's not the same Em when he started. Back then he was fighting the system, now he's joined it. He might be a clone, not sure.
Oh to be a kid again and hearing Bone for the first time..been a fan of Bone since 94.
I know you didn't say music today is more advanced lol auto tune isn't advancing. Listen to Do or Die Po Pimp, if you haven't already
The captions are useless when you listen to Bone 😂

@@The_Vanilla_Guerilla Facts! The younger generation doesn’t realize how much the 90’s inspired the music they listen to now. In damn near every genre.lol
I love that there are so many songs that were universal and every teenager liked.
That's true, you can't listen to Bone once and fully comprehend the true greatness of what you're hearing...I've been listening almost every day since around 94 and I'm still in awe and can't believe how amazing their music is.
Bro I’m born in 95 so I was a baby when these niggas blew up. But my pops had me listenin to shit like this growin up. I’ll always take 90s music over today’s music. And I’m still young enough to have grew up with alot of rappers like future, migos, 21 savage etc. I’d rather listen to shit like this , no question.

Back in '94 when I was 16 growing up in East L.A. The 3 strikes law had barely been established in California. Mexican American hoods bumped this shit 👍🏻
I remember I was 18 I'm 48 now, and went to the record store to buy a CD, and as I was walking through the aisles I saw Creeping on a come up, never heard of them and they had just put the cds on the shelf and I just got it because it said featuring Eazy-E and I was like WTF is this. I should all my homies and like a fews go buy and everybody is listening to BTNH.
I’m 46 been a Bone fan since they 1st released this jam here on NZ radio stations. And I still jam them to this day along with a mad mixed as play list
Dude, turn CC off, dont worry about any visuals, and just listen to the song...you'll get it.
They did a song with Biggie you should definitely check out (it's lyrics version). These are the dudes that influenced an entire generation going into the 2000s.
For the lov of money is a must by Bone
Is bout them thuggin
Some words are from the slang they used where they grew up.
No surrender is a good one too…I always feel like you should do the lyric videos
That was the quick tongue style Twista does it Early Jay-Z use that flow in the early '90s to mid '90s honestly the biggest lie this generation was told Rap was deep in the '90s majority of rap back in the day was mainly about flowing and dope beats w/ catchy hooks
I'm from Cleveland. Please react to their songs with Biggie & 2pac
Notorious Thugs (that's with Biggie)
Thug Luv (that's with 2pac)
Two of the most “Iconic” collabo’s Ever!!
One of my favorite groups in ever You need to listen to bone thugs with biggie smalls. This was what I listened to in high-school. You need to listen to hail marry from Tupac. You need to listen the all his greatest hits. ❤️ 😍 ❤❤❤
How do you not understand this? Just kidding, maybe look for a lyric video. For me it s just a feeling, a vibe they put out. But I feel everything that they say, the rhythm, the melody. Shits dope as fuck. I bought the tape cassette when it came out. And it had the lyrics on it. I would listen and read the lyrics over and over and over.
Aww Mann!! I vibed the same way with it, yeah me too… my cousin had that casette tape playing in her car. We riding out wearing this tape out over & over 😅. Ever since been forever a Bone Thugs n Harmony Die Hard!!!!💯
You don't understand them but you understand Youngboy?
😂😂😂😂😂Smh
This reactor dude dks
I Legitimately know all these Lyrics! If it sounds a bit confusing, Bone in their Early Days, used a bit of Patois! which is a way of Talking in Jamaica! Certain Music in Jamaica is known for their fast Lyric Style! Now Idk if it was from Family Roots or Inspiration!, but Bone took it with them to Create their own Style! Take this under consideration, with their Lyrics & Rhyme Scheme they are as Impeccable as they come! if you want to hear BTNH without their early Influences? literally every next of their Albums each Member becomes their Own! with still keeping their Original Flare 🔥FOREVER BONE!
Bro it's DOPE to see todays young generation discovering Bong Thugs! They are the dopest bro I was listenin to em back when I was a young teen. Keep doin' your thing bro and maybe one day check out some Australian rappers! Kerser, Wombat, PosseShot are good ones to check!
THE NORTH COAST.

You know he a true Mumble rap fan lol
Artist- Afura. Song-Wirlwind thru cities Let’s Go 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Bone Thugs was the group that made me feel like when the music came on, I was there IN IT. The symphony had a ride and die, someone is going to get you if you’re caught slipping feel. And till this day, every time that music plays, there is a sadness to it…they were the only ones that could create that atmosphere on a consistent basis. Warren G and eazy E as well but not like them
MO THUG!!!
I would suggest pulling up the lyrics or react to a lyric video. It is not easy to catch the lyrics if one doesn't understand how they're chopping up syllables. Once the lyrics are present, most realize that it was their ears that couldn't keep up because they're saying everything you'd read.
Facts!! Real Talk 💯
Funny thing is this is one if their slower songs.
I'm born and raised in Columbus, Oh. Southfield, seen Bizzy around the way many times before snd after he was famous. Bone is definitely one of if bot THE greatest rap groups ever.
I'm 40 now and my oldest son is 18 and he knows all about Bone and Pac.
Maybe you should have listened to what your parents were listening to.

@@WeFreestyleForever but why?
The same complaint that you have about not understanding the words of BONE THUGS N HARMONY in this song, is the same complaint that I have when I hear these MAINSTREAM MILLENNIAL RAPPERS nowadays doing their MUMBLE RAP. Yes we had some TONGUE-TWISTING rappers back in the early 90s that were difficult to understand back then; but overall, the MAINSTREAM RAPPERS that came out in the 80s and 90s had WAY BETTER LYRICS than the MAINSTREAM RAPPERS that came out AFTER the year 2000 and beyond. Because even when you CAN make out what these MAINSTREAM MILLENNIAL RAPPERS are rapping about nowadays, most them STILL are not saying much of ANYTHING of society value nor SUBSTANCE. Most of these MAINSTREAM MILLENNIAL RAPPERS sound IGNORANT and ILLITERATE on the MIC. For the MOST PART, the MAINSTREAM RAPPERS that came out in the 80s and 90s were WAY MORE LYRICAL, were WAY MORE ORIGINAL, and had WAY MORE SUBSTANCE in their LYRICS than most of these MAINSTREAM MILLENNIAL RAPPERS of TODAY. The ONLY MAINSTREAM MILLENNIAL RAPPERS that I hear nowadays that are LYRICAL with SUBSTANCE are J COLE and KENDRICK LAMAR. Most of the OTHER MAINSTREAM MILLENNIAL RAPPERS that I hear nowadays have TRASH GARBAGE LYRICS with NO SUBSTANCE. Because RHYME FOR RHYME, most of TODAY'S RAPPERS can not hang with most of the 80s and 90s RAPPERS . I know this for a FACT, because I grew up on 80s and 90s HIP HOP. And I witnessed the LYRICAL DECLINE after the NEW MILLENNIUM. Especially in the 2010s.

Once you get their cadence it's easy to understand lol but yeah when you new to a style you never heard it's hard. People used to tell me they make up words till i enlighten them lol
