Definitely. Not as good as it could have been, but there is more than enough in it for a new director/writer team and lead to draw from, to reboot into a masterpiece.
I saw this movie when I was 12 or 13 (back when it came out), and I've watched it dozens and dozens of times. I wore out my VHS. I still love this film, as cheesy as it is, and can quote lines from it. I had the biggest crush on Lamont Cranston. I loved the mental powers, the fights, that evil, sentient knife ,"Oh... That knife" - the Purbah (never actually saw it spelled out.). The whole movie was absolutely awesome to me. :) I will always love this movie.
I am currently reading the novelization and during this moment Kahn is said to be eating "meat (probably mutton) with goat cheese." In the movie, it appears to be chicken and white rice.
Such an underrated film...

I agree
"Oh, that knife."
Classic line.👍
It's a centuries years old spiritual tibetian dagger...!!!☝️😉
Is it me, or Alec Baldwin looked amazing in these suits!! Damn it! Classic!!
I love this film, first Time l Saw it was in 1996
Yes, Alec Baldwin is very perfect in the role of The Shadow.
More James Bond than Daniel Craig ever was!
Not you was just thinking the same :)
He's got to if he plans on making at least $970,000 a year.
Still one of the best superhero movies I have ever seen. Alec Baldwin is probably the most handsome human being on Earth
Baldwin would have made a good Batman in the 80's or 90's.
2:00 reminds me of the line he does a few years later as Ricky Tan in Rush Hour 2. "You Americans are so funny."
A great actor…
That poor laptop....😵💫
Alec Baldwin nail this movie! Great job! Bravo!!!!
Alec and John looked incredible in their respective outfits, that sense of fashion style is why I am such a fan of the 30s and 40s eras

agree with you!
I love this movie, my favorite scene in my favorite superhero movie.

I LOVE THIS MOVIE! So good. Other people don't have to like it.. but this is a favorite. :)
Agreed. Shame that Alec Baldwin didn’t get to do subsequent ones; he was really good in this, in my opinion.
CLASSIC!!!
I just noticed, he is a real Mongol, and he eats only with his fingers.
To me he will always be Ying Ko.
Brilliant film loved every minute. Alec Baldwin just looks ridiculously good. Great film.
Love this scene. It's got it's flaws but only makes it better.
Baldwin probably wishes he had that power of mind control now.
Damn you cold.
It is always between Good & Evil...!!!😇😈
I. Love. The. Food😊
Good
The Fireworks sound is off.
Shiwan khan is what happens when a telepath goes wrong.
