@@IgnacioVeutroProductions Hi Ignacio you are very talented at this type of thing and deserve all the praise you get. I also look through archives and also find images online for sale, some it takes hours of research to find out where the locations are as mostly I only know what city it is and nothing else to go on, but google maps is a good tool for finding any surviving buildings in the background of these old photos. Thanks for keeping in touch Ignacio.

The way they are going there will be nothing left in Berchtesgaden. I was stationed there and attached to the US Army in 1974/5/6, at Strub Kaserne. I was serving with 26 Armd Engr Sqn, Royal Engineers. They've knocked down the Berchtesgadener Hof, General Walker hotel and the 'Skytop' next to the old Gutshof which was then, and is now, a golf club, amongst many other old buildings. We did much work for the AFRC there including building a new ski lift and many buildings on the Obersalzburg. As well as rebuild the road across the Golf course , which Hitler used to walk every day for exercise on the rare occasions he was there.

The horrible events which took place in Europe, between 1919 and 1933, led directly up to a nation placing it's trust in the hands of a father-like figure. The crimes committed against several million blameless German citizens all across Europe, perpetrated by Americans, Soviets, Polish, and Czechs, during, and after the collapse in 1945, remain still too little accounted for. The political and economic enslavement of the German Nation after 1945, also came at a tremendous cost to all Europe, and all Western Culture. Too many millions perished, and Europe can never recover these losses.
