Just played my first solo game. I lost 60-40. Your score made me feel better! Thank you! I only got one citizen too. I’ve no idea how to get ahead of Joan to take the A and B citizens first! One thing I noticed, you collected the locations in ascending order anyway but you said if Joan takes a 3 location that you could then take a four. I think in solo you can only take higher numbered locations if you have all the lower ones yourself I.e. Joan ‘s actions don’t affect you.
I've had to watch 3 or 4 videos to figure out the solo mode, and this one was the most helpful. Thanks for being concise and also holding up the paper so I could see it easier 😁 Well done tutorial. Thanks!
Yes I have! I only played it one time about two years ago. My first play/impressions was that it was too complex for me. I was still new to the hobby then so I’ll have to give it a another try at some point.
@DaniCha I was looking it over and thought the same thing. I am new to the hobby and it looks heavy. I have been buying so many games. Buying more then I've been playing! Lol. It's addicting
Hey DaniCha, feedback from a french guy: you do well with french words ;-) It looks like nothing is written neither on the board nor on the cards/tokens, can you confirm? fyi, Joan of Arc is "Jeanne d'Arc" in french 🙂 Thanks for the solo play!
Now I have to laminate and get those nice markers you have. Love it!
Laminating is always a priority for roll and writes!

I'm so glad my video was able to help. I felt this was one of the most unique draw and write type games I've played so far.

Oh good to hear!! 😊😊
@DaniCha have you heard of a roll and write game Rome and roll? I picked that uo to.

@@travelinwithTODD I totally understand about it being addicting. 😆 I have a lot of games to catch up on myself!
Great playthrough as always!!! Would you recommend this just for SOLO play?
Thanks!

That’s great to know! And yes, there are a few letters throughout the game sheet, but primarily iconography on the components.
