I was at your position at some point in my life but then when I came to know how destructive pads can be for our vaginal health I decided to switch. They are so harmful that they can cause cancer as well. You can always see videos how to use these products scientifically and logically and switch 😊
As a medical student, I just want to highlight that Tampons should never be left inserted for more than 6 hours because leaving them for longer allows bacteria to grow and may cause unnoticeable abrasions in vaginal wall while removing it where bacteria can grow and these bacteria (staphylococcus aureus) can cause Toxic Shock Syndrome which is life threatening so I'll suggest 4 things... 1. Never leave it in for more than 6 hours 2. Maintain good hygiene down there (do not use any product just wash with luke warm water) during removal and after you pee. 3. Remove the tampon very gently after separating the labia properly 4. Menstrual cups are much safer and better to use.

Minor erosions of the mucus inside uterus which come out are normal but tampns don't absorb them yet it can get adhered to them.

Menstrual cup - YES, it's the best. I've been using it for 4-5 years now. Bt u can't keep it there for 12 hours. That's just in some emergency case n you must empty it like a pad in every 6-8 hours or as needed..& there r some issues some face in cups too. Also shelf life- 5 to 10 yrs.

@@kanaksharma5867 i have read abt it. Even the blood is not outside the body it still in a collective place & which may create bacteria n infections. Also i personally experienced this 2-3 times that cup got stuck in there & created vaccum bcz of that it was painful to even pull out, when i left it there for 10-12 hours. Our vagina (inner) gets dry bcz of no contact of water, cup staying there for long n which creates vaccum. No need to panic.. just relax n take long breaths n try to push n pull at same time in zig zag motion which helped me to remove it easily bt it took long.
@@thatbrowngirl3903 hey, when I researched about menstrual cup before buying it, I came to know that it is supposed to create vaccum there so that there shall be no leakage and that is where it has small holes just below the rim so that vaccum be formed. The vaccum is normal, I've felt the pain while removing but now I got the trick, to follow the tail and reach to the rim, put your finger or thumbs between the wall and then rim, press it against the wall and there you are, it will release its grip! And just take it out.

I am 20 years old. As a youngster I always used to get irritated during my periods and I hated pads. I really wanted to switch to menstrual cups. Then, I ordered a cup. At first, I was really scared and hesitant to use it. Then, when I first tried it, it was really difficult to insert it. But, after watching many youtube videos, I finally understood, how to use it . I could never have been more happier than now. Once you become habitual of using it, you will forget that your periods are going.
@Shriya Keshri Yess you can sleep wearing menstrual caps. For first 1-2 days you might get heavy flow...so you can empty at least 3 times a day. This is something I do. And yess you can use menstrual cup at 18...just make sure while buying chose small size. I am not an expert but you can always watch some good TH-cam channel to gain some knowledge about it.

Please concern a doctor before switching to any products that's not usual for you... genital hygiene products in females are so overrated these days.. not all the products suitable for everyone it differs from person to person...it creates lot of confusion and self questioning when certain products do not work the way they were expected...and you'll left with a bad impression without knowing your body type...and point to mark here is that it can cause micro-injuries , infections and excessive bleeding if not used properly..
Menstrual cup is not promising product for 2nd and 3rd day, as it doesn't work even for 3 hours sometimes. It can leak anytime 😢. I have been using Menstrual cup from around a year now but can't go outside even for few hours as it leaks sometimes within 2 hours as well. For 4th day onwards it is good but again no guarantee that it can help you for 5-6 hours continuously and little risk of leakage is there in case you are going out. I am using TWC menstrual cup. I like Menstrual cup as it is mess free and no headache of disposing off dirty pads. However, sometimes cup is not placed properly then it keep on creating problem until you remove it and insert next time 😢. Sometimes I feel that there is nothing in this world which can help females forget about period problems, inconvenience and hassles😢 This was my experience with MC, would like to know about other's experience.

I felt dizzy everytime I tried to use tampons, and its not like I'm using it the wrong way or using a wrong size. Its the smallest one I just can't fit it

Cervix is a point which connects your uterus and vagina and together these three makes birth canal. But my question is mere vagina m ek ungli jaane ki bhi jagah nhi hai since I never had any sexual contact or no figuring then how can this cup will go inside. Menstrual cup - YES, it's the best. I've been using it for 4-5 years now. Bt u can't keep it there for 12 hours. That's just in some emergency case n you must empty it like a pad in every 6-8 hours or as needed..& there r some issues some face in cups too. Also shelf life- 5 to 10 yrs.
What made you believe that menstrual cup should not be kept as long as 12 hours? Please share the information because I keep it there when the flow is low.
@@kanaksharma5867 i have read abt it. Even the blood is not outside the body it still in a collective place & which may create bacteria n infections. Also i personally experienced this 2-3 times that cup got stuck in there & created vaccum bcz of that it was painful to even pull out, when i left it there for 10-12 hours. Our vagina (inner) gets dry bcz of no contact of water, cup staying there for long n which creates vaccum. No need to panic.. just relax n take long breaths n try to push n pull at same time in zig zag motion which helped me to remove it easily bt it took long.
@@thatbrowngirl3903 hey, when I researched about menstrual cup before buying it, I came to know that it is supposed to create vaccum there so that there shall be no leakage and that is where it has small holes just below the rim so that vaccum be formed.
The vaccum is normal, I've felt the pain while removing but now I got the trick, to follow the tail and reach to the rim, put your finger or thumbs between the wall and then rim, press it against the wall and there you are, it will release its grip! And just take it out.

I am 20 years old. As a youngster I always used to get irritated during my periods and I hated pads. I really wanted to switch to menstrual cups. Then, I ordered a cup. At first, I was really scared and hesitant to use it. Then, when I first tried it, it was really difficult to insert it. But, after watching many youtube videos, I finally understood, how to use it . I could never have been more happier than now. Once you become habitual of using it, you will forget that your periods are going.

@Shriya Keshri Yess you can sleep wearing menstrual caps. For first 1-2 days you might get heavy flow...so you can empty at least 3 times a day. This is something I do. And yess you can use menstrual cup at 18...just make sure while buying chose small size. I am not an expert but you can always watch some good TH-cam channel to gain some knowledge about it.

Please concern a doctor before switching to any products that's not usual for you... genital hygiene products in females are so overrated these days.. not all the products suitable for everyone it differs from person to person...it creates lot of confusion and self questioning when certain products do not work the way they were expected...and you'll left with a bad impression without knowing your body type...and point to mark here is that it can cause micro-injuries , infections and excessive bleeding if not used properly..
I'd recommend reusable pads too. They're comfy

Menstrual cup is not promising product for 2nd and 3rd day, as it doesn't work even for 3 hours sometimes. It can leak anytime 😢. I have been using Menstrual cup from around a year now but can't go outside even for few hours as it leaks sometimes within 2 hours as well. For 4th day onwards it is good but again no guarantee that it can help you for 5-6 hours continuously and little risk of leakage is there in case you are going out. I am using TWC menstrual cup. I like Menstrual cup as it is mess free and no headache of disposing off dirty pads. However, sometimes cup is not placed properly then it keep on creating problem until you remove it and insert next time 😢.
Sometimes I feel that there is nothing in this world which can help females forget about period problems, inconvenience and hassles😢
