Bro, it was great to see your adventurous ride! I remember my school days in Goethals, in the late 80s and early 90s there wasn't any tarmac road near to Chimney. It was the old military road. Recently, I've been there on my motorcycle, what a fantastic road they have built, it's amongst the best roads in Kurseong sub division. We used to hike through the jungle trail in groups carrying torches, to reach upto Tiger Hill until dawn. The only reason they don't have tarmac roads in the Senchal wildlife area is not to disturb the ecological harmony and avoid people from cutting down trees and transporting through the woods. Those roads are actually very bad. Not only bad last few kilometres there are no roads to be honest. Went on nov with pillion. Very adventurous.
