- Since joining the Royal family, many have suggested that Meghan’s negative treatment in the media is a result of underlying racism in Britain. Following last night’s interview, today we’re joined by singer-songwriter Jamelia, who claims we do indeed live in a racist society, and believes that the press focus on Meghan can be traced back to the fact she is the first person of colour to join the modern-day British Royal family.
