People with upcoming competitions should wear a pink bandanna or something so they can get the hard rolls and leave the regs that don’t want hard rolls alone
The problem with BJJ is the rolls; higher belts have to deal with lower belts going 100% when we just want to chill and roll, not deal with steroid head blue or white belts out training for the olympics; leads to mental and physical burnout; look at all the top pros, all knee and shoulder problems before they are 25, what a joke
I think that’s something that just needs to be addressed in your school by higher belts. I’m a white belt who has been guilty of unreasonably hard rolls but I agree with you. Lower belts need to learn how to roll first with good technique.
Consistency is key! Train 5-6 days a week some days roll, or drill only, or just do class mix it up listen to your body but keep moving 👍
how can I watch the full video version of this podcast? Is there a separate YT channel? I normally listen on Apple podcasts.
Hey man you probably found it or don’t care by now but it’s episode 536 on the podcast
